this is what i seek. this sounds old as fuck, tbh. like something that was almost in the infancy stage of the genre, but just kind of crawling out of it, and really starting to wrap its head around the sound.
Is that heavy drone really coming from a Moog slim phatty??? With some pedals and amps I assume. If so that's some ingenious sound design. I've been trying to achieve a heavy booming doom sound from only synths, usually using a detuned square and super saw mixed together, with a separate saw with a bunch of chorus, but I feel like I'm layering endlessly until it sounds like a muddled mess of noise. Really curious about the specs here. Whatever it is it sounds great. All the more impressive if it's all from the phatty with accessories
