I want to put on my paver patio. I see rust on your pavers. Did that happen during the process of speeding up the patina ?

Yes, that is a temporary location and the pavers are where I patina'd the fire pit.

I want to buy one of these over a Solo Yukon but from all the videos I can find, the secondary burn of the Solo seems much stronger. Like flame fingers coming out of each air hole. Is this because the Breeo is shorter or because people don’t load it up with wood since they promote it as being more geared to cooking.

My x24 achieves what you are saying. The Solo Stove is much smaller so it consumes less wood to achieve the smokeless option. The x30 here will take considerably more wood to get up to temperature. For me the x24 was the sweet spot, still goes through a lot of wood. I put a Valencia surround around my x24 and have the grill and deflector and cover. Love this fire pit
