This will get you TIG welding. There will be an investment in a TIG torch and bottle, but you can always use those on any future machine if you chose to upgrade. BTW…I recommend getting all of your bottles and refills from Airgas. They are nationwide and you can always trade up to a bigger bottle if needed later. Thanks for watching.

Is FCAW considered to be MIG? It DC TIGs if you add the torch and a regulator? Seems like description inflation to me. But hey, for $109.99 ($20 coupon applied), that's a killer price for a 120V flux core and stick. Spark it up fellas!
Good point. Spend so little time MIG welding that I call anything with the “gun” MIG welding. That being said, I think it put down a weld that would get you off the trail and back to your trailer. I do not expect it will replace a more powerful MIG or TIG welder.
In the hands of master Dave, any welder can stack dimes!!! It is nice to know that the budget welders can get the job done.
