  • Join us for a conversation that delves into the first volume of Dr. Deb's fantastic new book set.
This book contains the best of the world’s largest collection of conformation photos of horses belonging to people of ordinary means. Over 400 examples! Highly readable, this book is addressed to every horse owner and everyone who works with horses!
Conformation judging at its best is not just a question of ticking off faults on a list. This volume begins by asking the important question: “What makes ‘good’ conformation good?” The answer, of course, is found in the link between form and function. Here you will find in-depth coverage of essential principles that are rarely mentioned in other books on conformation, yet are essential to making sound judgements.

De. Bennett Phd is the best she walks around knowing all this stuff.. At her level its literally endless amounts of knowledge about how all of the horses anatomical features fit together and reciprocate to enable the horse to properly carry the rider..

This is the most interesting conversation I’ve listened to so far. So informative and fascinating, I’ve listened / watched and studied the diagrams three times now and am still gleaning information each time. Highly recommend listening, and would love it if Deb Bennett wrote an equine history book. 😊 Thank you for this conversation.

Jim Rowe used to tell us in college dressage classes that the horse collects by using his stomach muscles.. He had a 9th grade education- and i bet didn't know the word rectus abdominus, but he did truly understand collection- Also he was a student of Dorita Konyot, and I think her dad, and brothers..
