Bob is simply amazing! That particular guitar, his Blue American Standard Strat with the active electronics, is still my favorite guitar ever and in Bob's hands, you can see why. This is a GREAT song, one of his best ever, and incredible live whether solo or with his band. Just watch his DVD, Circle of Friends. I suggest all Bob fans buy that DVD, you will never regret it.

By the way, he normally uses Lace Sensor pickups. These kind of pickups are not active electronics... they're passive but quite special ones.
