@@royshavrick This was not fair dog.... it didn't help Sainz at all..... with fresher rubber, Leclerc could have been ahead of Mercedes and undercut them. He had a VSC, the PERFECT chance to get medium tyres. He would've held up Mercedes and Sainz wouldn't have been under pressure at all..... but no, they made him a sitting duck for no reason with deteriorating tyres.
Also, to ask him to create 3-5 second gaps??? WHAT A JOKE. He was faster in the first stint. They should've let them fight.
This is why Red Bull is so damn awesome. They care about both cars and drivers and know how to get both of them on the podium, just like Mercedes could when they owned F1 ..... I hope Leclerc gets second in Japan behind Max with Checo back on the podium and Sainz back in the midfield were he belongs. Faggrari SUCKS.
Also, may I remind you Charles is the ultimate racer and qualifier yet he only gets third becuase his car has an internal fault, we saw it in Spain, Miami, Zandvoort, Monza and now here.
In Spa, Canada, Austria, Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Jeddah he SMASHED Sainz and various other drivers in better cars.

Carlos gave Lando the DRS so he could fend of the two Mercedes. Without that DRS then the Mercs would have easily passed Lando and then went on to challenge Carlos. Lando had no chance to win the race but could have easily slipped off the podium. Carlos and Lando worked together to maintain their respective places, which is very very smart actually

He couldn´t try anything, he didn´t have enough pace to try an overtake. He was lucky he had that DRS or he would have been overtaken by the mercs at the end

Easier said than done, especially when Sainz was holding back to keep Norris within DRS range. Don't think Lando had a shot at winning, best he could finish was 2nd

Oh yes, we definitely watched a different race then lol. You do realize that IF Carlos didn't purposefully give lando DRS lando would definitely get overtaken by one if not two mercedes right? That mclaren didn't have that much straight line speed compared to the others. Carlos did a 1000 IQ Play and made sure lando had DRS so that he stayed in P2 and was a buffer between him and mercedes. It was intentional from Sainz! It's insane how you didn't realize that. 😂
