@LOUGOTGUAP Yh i have watched some ppls posts on their youtube paychecks, it really varies from channel to channel. I think it partially depends on how big your channel is, type of content, viewership and how often you put out and region too I guess.
I have a few acquaintances from RUclips who started 2 yrs and 3 yrs ago. One from 2 years makes around $5k on just youtube ads. One started from 3 yrs ago makes well over $10k monthly on RUclips. She posts multiple times a day and she runs a celeb gossip/news entertainment channel. I swear her channel posts are on speed. Both in the US.
I imagine it would be harder to have content to post everyday, yet alone multiple times, for lifestyle channels, but some people in these RUclips streets are banking too well lol 😅
most importantly you should learn basic Korean because we don’t speak English. It’s like going to American or European countries without English knowledge

"K-pop is becoming more Westernized." Kpop is ALL music popular in Korea, you mean idol music. Idol music was influenced by Western pop from the beginning (Came about when MTV first started in the US). K-pop will never be westernized because western artist never get trained for years before debut, Western artists aren't held to a high standard (can lip sync and be famous), there are no unique concepts in the West, and Western artist can't do intense choreography while singing live. Literally the only thing I do not like about some idol music is that there is too much English.
But it’s not just idol music that’s why she said kpop. Pop does mean popular but there is a certain vibe it usually has as a genre. Like I wouldn’t call trot kpop…I see your point though I don’t really agree.
K-pop is highly influenced by western artist. I don’t listen to k-pop very much but I do notice that there music is influenced by western 90s and modern pop and rnb. They draw inspiration from western artist like Beyoncé, TLC, Cierra and many more. It’s okay that k-pop artist takes influences from different artist their ultimate goal is to be world wide and mainstream at the end of the day. They are as vain and depraved as other celebrities. All they want is to be rich and famous and successful like everyone else.
