Grant Imahara is brilliant. Whatever crackpot concept the show Mythbusters attempted to pursue; Grant was able to develop an electrical engineering solution to test it! The real unsung (or, at least, not sung enough) genius of the group.
It's too bad Imahara can't find a way to work his way into a heavily robotics focused or futurist kind of a role. Some famous physicists have managed to pigeonhole themselves into that kind of a role, but truly, Imahara, with his experience, would be better at it.

Was irked when the algorithm popped this one in my recommendations since this is too fresh a loss. Then I watched the video.. His smile is contagious in this one. I always loved robotics and he was a solid nerd of value in that regard, but that was just a fraction of what he was to this show and as a person to boot. Looked into it and he made an animatronic baby Yoda which he pushed towards charity for children's hospitals. So not only was he a patron to electrical sciences, he also had a huge heart. Way things are now a days he will be missed doubly I think.

I didnt know he passed so young. Sad. He enriched our lives so much. The world was a better place having more people of his character. Rest in peace.

So sexist bro. Kari wasn’t there just to be cute, she was a valued part of the science team. If anything, Grant was the cute one.

@@machiel5888 dude, really? It was a timid comment on their personalitys. And don't you tells me they didn't have the "Well is she SEXY enough for TV?" Convo behind closed doors. Grow up troll.

To be completely honest, he was the one I took for (Grant)ed. I always knew he was an incredibly smart and nice person, but I never appreciated him for it as much as I should have. Since his death, I have been incredibly saddened by this unfortunate event. He was amazing; he did many amazing things, made many amazing things possible, and got many amazing people where they are today (and will be in the future).
RIP Grant, we all miss you.
Hope you're having fun up there
