Huge respect for the genuine advice to newcomers like me in the world of fragrance. Completely agree with the addiction part and hesitation to go to store and try many options before buying. Recently, after lockdown had the courage to visit rasasi and swiss arabian stores in mall and actually try out the fragrances. To be frank, I felt I knew more about about the fragrances and notes from youtube videos than the sales person who just knows what they r selling most or may be recommends based on their commission. Like u said , it's a little difficult initially to say no to their insists and keep trying other perfumes.

Thanks guru, I feel addicted my self, in last three months during lockdown, I make a blind buy of Rs 7000/- plus and start feeling addicted, but this video change my mind set completely, now onwards , firstly I test a perfume and try to buy it, my recent purchase are, Al Rehab Avenue, Blanc, Silver, Sultan, Rasha, Almas Coolweather, Bushara, Arochem Real Rose, Ruh khus, Diamond Shuhad, Magnet, Fogg Trump, Fogg Discover, Wild Stone Forest Spice, Hydra Energy, Fogg Tycoon, Ajmal Silver Shades Deo, Ard Al Zafraans Sayaad al quloob, Wild Stone Code Titanium, Iridium, Steel and Fogg Dynamic, Birra Machismo and Traditional Itra of Ruh khus and Sandal from a local vendors in jaipur, they all are suggested and rewied by some decent and great rewiers like handsome babs, Yasir bhai and joy Amin from Bangladesh, these are great, but next time I will be Very cautious before my purchase, thanks a lot sir, this will definitely help lots of people, luv u guru and regards......

I store my bottles in dark wooden almirah and they have very long life.And secondly Ruh khus from kannauj matures with age if kept in dark wooden box in cool environment?

This video is really a good lesson for me. During the last year only I have spent a lot on perfumes and have added many perfumes to my ever-growing perfume collection. but still even after buying around 40 to 50 perfumes, I have not found a signature perfume for me.

Are all best atars ,u can regular use dese atars,u never bored from them vn u get the sense of understanding d fragrance notes
After that u can purchased other atars or perfumes whichever u like which makes u feel happy like u like wood notes or floral notes or earthern notes,spicy notes

Thanks a lot . I acquired more than 40 perfumes over a period of time and now regret getting many of them . Also , I recently came under pressure from a sales person and bought a perfume which I dislike so much that I am just using it as room freshener . I will gradually shrink my collection to 5 solid top quality perfumes and throw away the rest . Thanks for your advice . I appreciate you . Been following you for many years but searched this video again to get back some sense !

Very good video i have seen many of ur videos and i feel my nose has total similarity of ur nose. So whatever oud or perfume u recommend i also like it and then i keep running to purchase it even if its out of my budget. After watching so many of ur videos i came across this one. I recommend u edit all ur perfume reviews and add comment and link of this video in them because people like me fall in love with those perfumes just because my nose (despite being fragrance lover and analyzer since 2012) is convinced with ur comments and recommendations. Latest i am running behind Prada Luna Rossa Black and Bvlgari Man in Black because u recommended it despite both are out of my budget. But trying to get them some how. So u need to add the link of this video before all ur videos

Recently I stopped buying full bottles and shifted to buying decants and that too of the original fragrance and not the clone ones. I regret buying clones today as it doesn't keep you satisfied if you are in this long journey.
I am not saying buying clones is a bad thing but once you try the original you might not want to go back to the clone and that Clone will be sitting on your shelf unused as you won't be happy applying it.
Best way to have a good number of fragrances without spending a lot in my opinion is to try 2-5ml decants first and buy a 30ml decant later if you really liked. 30ml decants of multiple fragrances will easily last you a good amount of time without getting bored from any of them.
If you really loved a fragrance then only buy a full bottle but buying in FOMO won't keep you happy in the long run.
