      Coming for sure!
      Although... I'm guessing it'll be awhile before that part is just freely available from the parts system. I'm sure Ford is going to reserve plenty of those for the assembly line and warranty work for the initial 2025 launch.

      I dont see why it wouldn't be Plug n Play. Same with the rear air vents.

    "Base" Bronco was really never all that "base," especially when compared to a comparable Wrangler.
    As a Basesquatch owner I'm happy to see it return, although I wonder if Sasquatch package will be priced as aggressively as it used to be - it used to be $2-3k cheaper to add it to a base than on other models.

    • @RagnarKon
      @RagnarKon  Месяц назад

      This is true, it was never really a super "base" vehicle by traditional standards. Some base vehicles out there still have manual crank windows, for example. Meanwhile this will have digital gauge clusters and a 12" screen.
      BUT I think having access to the Sasquatch package from the Base trim was the real winner. And as far as I know the other vehicles in the off-road SUV segment don't have anything remotely close to the Sasquatch package on the lowest trim.

      Freakin base squatch was killer. First, you got cloth seats which are better in many respects. Breathe better and don't get too cold or hot. Really negates the need for heated or cooled seats. And sheesh, all the off-road goodies on the squatch. Had to go Rubicon on the Jeep side to get such capability. No leather steering wheel, but the plastic wheel was OK. Don't know if the Bronco leather wrap is really leather anyway. And arguably the best badge of the trims.

    If the base keeps the cost down, and you can still sasquatch it, you will get alot of sales.

    What I’m somewhat confused with is whether or not the standard engine offered on the Wildtrak is going to be available moving forward as an option. Any word on that?

    • @RagnarKon
      @RagnarKon  Месяц назад +1

      The Wildtrak has the 2.7L V6 engine as the standard engine. Only Ford can answer how long that will remain an option.
      But for 2025...
      - For 2-door Broncos, the _ONLY_ way to get the 2.7L V6 engine is with the Stroppe special edition
      - For 4-door Broncos, the 2.7L V6 engine is an available option on the upper trim levels: Outer Banks and Badlands

      It is indeed. 2-Door is available on Base, Badlands, and of course the new Stroppe Special Edition.

    I don't understand the excitement about a all digital gauge cluster. Total novelty just like most of the obscure infotainment options.
    We have a 2024 Big Bend 4-door 7-speed that just went into production this week and I was glad to see there were no changes we cared about. My wife wanted manual transmission with heated seats SUV for her daily driver(replaces 2012 XTerra 6-speed with 220k miles) and that is what she is getting. We test drove a badlands sasquatch and there wasn't a single feature we were sad to give up by going back to a big bend.

    • @RagnarKon
      @RagnarKon  Месяц назад

      I think most people just want a more "traditional" gauge layout and weren't particular picky about whether it was digital or analog.
      I know for manual transmission Bronco owners, the lack of a tachometer was a big annoyance. Granted, it does technically have one, it's just a vertical bar rather than a traditional dial.

    I got a 2.7 in my 2023 2D Base Squatch. I’m pretty sure you won’t be able to get it in a 2025 MY Base.

    Stroppe being the only 2D V6, the colors need to be an option package.
    Also, Wildtrack should have been dropped last year. Hoss 3.0 should have been a package on any sas equipped Bronco from its inception. Wildtrack should never have been touted as top model. A sas Badlands has always been “top” for off road. On the plus side, my 2D V6 Badlands just increased in value by about 30% 😂🤣
