V Rising Maja Brutal easy strat

- The easy way to beat Maja is to bring 2 blocks and the greatsword. ALWAYS block the black projectile as it will delete it and stop it from summoning a minion, which if does if it hits you, the floor, or a wall. Just use basic attacks and make sure to always keep a block available for that minion summon. Save your weapon skills to burst down the minion she tries to absorb. Greatsword is great here since it can cleave her and the minions and the second skill lets you leap over pages.

Tried running this fight with a friend before I found this video. This fight is so much harder with multiple people. we ended up doing 1 person solo and the second came in at the very end to nuke her with ult
How would it be harder with more people? Genuinely curious.
Not really a “busy” fight compared to some earlier ones.
@@lf4186 Because it's just one person and it's easier to concentrate and understand the movements
When there are 2 or more people on top of the boss, it becomes difficult to understand the situation
@@lf4186 I'm not sure if it's a bug or poor balance, but with more than one person we got absolutely swarmed by additional enemies, I'm talking about 20 or so with just too of us, became way too overwhelming

What armor are you using? When i get hit its for half my hp and i have hollowfang.. also she spawns like 30 of those crawlers not just 4
Don't get hit by the floating books they deal a lot of dmg, also kill the minions the moment they get summoned. When she disappears and summons a lot of minions, the way I killed them is by saving my ult(I used the spider unholy one) to kill almost all instantly then killed the rest using GS.
Me and my friend is stuck on this fight. She spawns 20-30 little shits, on top of the books and page spam. How are you supposed to beat this?
My understanding from another video is that one spawn happens EACH time one of her shadow bolt hit. Therefore: 1. NO SUMMONS. You summon skeletons, her shadow bolts hit skeletongs, 20 little craps in no time. and 2: Shield or dodge the shadow bolts

My dude, thanks, been struggling playing as a caster since yesterday, second try using this strat i got her at lvl 47 with the shortsword
Took some tries but it worked for me. Really just gotta get lucky with her skills and dodge as much as you can and lay into her before her next phase starts. Absolutely try not to let her heal too.
Have you modified the damage from ennemies on your server? the pages hit me for 119 and you only 57
Nope, stock brutal settings. We're you underleveled or undergeared? Level difference affects incoming and outgoing damage.
How kill the cleymor vampire hunter
This strat helped me a TON. Got her on the 2nd try with this strat after failing for an hour lol
is this really brutal? it seemed like she didnt use half of her abilities, like the one where she disappears and summons a lot of minions when shes low hp or do you somehow prevent that?
It's not hard
It is not brutal, brutal has a whole other pahse when her health drops to a point where she does the thousand paper cuts which this does not have so you can tell it is Normal and he is pawning it off for likes.

The dmg take seemed way of for brutal.

I choked hard and still beat her. The fight went from feeling completely impossible to feeling doable every time. Took me 3 tries to get the hang of it, and then it became easy.
I used Blood Rite and Ward of the Damned just cuz I had jewels for them, though nothing amazing.
Why when i fight her she summons 20 gremlins but u only get like 6
As I explained in description, her projectile summons those when it either hits you, a wall, or expires from range. I use double block specifically for this as it deletes the projectiles, stopping her form summoning anything. That's the whole strat.

Just beat him today. Use Bow, bring one block and one damage spell. chains are easy-enough to sidestep, save block for the spinning charge if you won't avoid it, remember any skeleton Kriig hits will soon detonate and skeletons hit by the detonation will then also detonate. Stay away from most skeletons, stay on the move, use bow Q to push skeletons away if they get too close or use dodge or greatsword Q if you can't make enough space. If you avoid skeletons blowing up on you Kriig himself is very easy to avoid.
Took many tries to figure him out but once my friend and I did and made a plan it was an easy-enough fight.

the strat is crap, this is not brutal, anyone else notice that it has no " Die by a Thousand Paper Cuts" phase this is normal and and trying to be passed as brutal.
I did the same thing on brutal and it worked perfectly fine.Didn't have that phase as well.
She is level 50 instead of 47 so this is brutal
100% Brutal and makes the fight much easier double counter and great sword makes this easy!
@@kevinxu7835 you can tweak the settings to have brutal levels but not the extra skills or the health. Try this on official.
probably is brutal the die by a thousand paper cuts attack might only be used if you stand farther away from her. comparatively she did not use flee interloper when i fought her att distance
funny haha i dont have any of those skills. cant solo for shit she just spams minions and heals nonstop
U can respec to use those skills. There is a building in game for free respec.
You have to fight something higher level to get a Storm unlock..

@@Nick-cs4oc how much of a noob are you. Kriig literally solos Meredith and leaves her on the floor for you to take. It's why she basically has no unlocks. She's practically a joke boss.

This is not brutal mode
This IS brutal mode. The only reason it looks this easy is because block skills eat her projectiles, which stops her from summoning anything.
@@Ygdrad ok but in brutal mode she has at least one more attack, paper coming one side and the other and she says something about sweet paper cut., plus she can still summon minion in brutal even if you don't get hit .
@@haomusic3596 The minions always get summoned if you don't get hit. After hitting terrain or running out of range they summon minions. I'm not sure why that extra attack may or may not have been in this fight, but I can assure you my dedicated server is set to brutal and that's how I've played the game. It even showed the brutal multiplier when I opened the menu so I know it was setup right.

This is not Brutal difficulty.
It is. I've solely been playing on brutal on my dedicated server. It's easy because of the strat. If you stop her from summoning minions she's a joke.
@Ygdrad huh? How did you "stop" her from summoning? I am playing a permadeath brutal server and she summons a ton of them. And I'm not using skeletons.
