Lowes or Home Depot have dowel rods in excess. Never go to a craft store for dowel rods, they charge 3x more.

My biggest pet peeve is people who get the counter soaking wet. Especially in public bathrooms.
When you go to wash your hands and then the front of your pants is wet because there's water dripping down the counter and now it looks like you peed yourself
why don't countertop engineers design a lip on the edge to prevent that? they're to blame
If you just actually pee yourself after then you don’t have to explain the water just say you peed your pants

I work in the returns department and people will wait in line playing on their phone and wait until they get to the counter to find their receipt (often digital). Happens all the time. At least some people have the decency to say "I probably should have had this ready" ... yup.

It's not the fast lane, it's a passing lane. If you're not passing anyone, regardless of speed, the law states that you get over.
It is illegal and dangerous to pass on the right and it's also illegal to ride in the passing lane holding up traffic.

I always get the counter wet! Not sure why! I think it's because I'm short and so my hands don't sit over the sink very well. But I always wipe up my counters at work and in public, plus I keep a towel by sink at home.

so i’m from WV and when my family and I went to LA, we didn’t know about the whole “traffic tailgating” thing, let’s just say there was a lot of road rage on my Dads part and the people behind us were very angry but to be fair, we had no clue wth was going on 😂

Regarding the first question I’m much more similar to link. I’m the only girl in my home and I’m constantly drying the counter (and other surfaces) and we don’t have a water filter but I’m always the one bringing water for my partner and I. I think I’d discontinue the behaviour** of making everything wet and not wiping it up yourself. It’s like cleaning up your own mess. It’s easy and I’m tired of doing it for at least two others. I’ll do it, but damn.

Its not a fast lane, its a passing lane. The difference is very important. Regardless of speed, the lane is meant for passing, not cruising. If someones behind you and tailgating you, its not their fault for tailgating. Its your fault for not moving over and allowing the faster car to pass in the PASSING lane. How do so many people not get that?
