Klaus made such character development it’s crazy. He went from being this bad guy that didn’t care about anyone or anything, not even the girl he knocked up or the baby inside her, and only a sliver of care for his family, but not enough to stop him for putting a dagger through their hearts. And then you fast forward to the end, where he would sacrifice his life if it meant the safety of his family, and he loved Hope more then anything in the world. In the end of his journey, he died for love. He died so his daughter could thrive. Yes it meant she would basically be an orphan, but he knew that his family, (who was left at least) would give up their lives if it meant protecting her. So he stabbed himself in the chest, ending the Great Klaus Mikealson. He did it all for his littlest wolf. The same baby he said could die for all he cared. Through out the span of 5 seasons, he grew feelings. Real, raw, unprotected feelings. Love, hope, dreams, sadness and despair. Happiness. He finally got happiness. We love you NiKlaus. Thank you for showing us how amazing the bad guys really can be. May you rest with Elijah and be proud of your daughter.
