Been following this tutorials in order, they have helped me gain a level of creative freedom I never imagined I could have. Excited to see what I can do when I finish all the lessons. Thank you for making this series!
I just found this channel and Im hypeddd!! I don't know how your content hasn't blown up yet but keep grinding hard man because I see big potential from you. Subbed and even clicked on the bell for the first time ever on a channel lol great job man.
I know this video is pretty old. But thanks for making all of them nonetheless! I was just wondering if there is a way to mix the effect without lowering the volume of the instrument...
I'm sure you figured it out later, but the master effects all of the volumes. So when you were trying to turn down the master, but the claps up, it was still super quiet. What should have happened was leave the master at a good volume, then have the claps and the rest set to different fx channels, then change the levels. Anyway! Great vid
I wish I could find a list of all different synths. I found one in the sample sounds but there is a limited amount and none of them are what I was loping for. I also don't know how to edit the sounds to what I am looking for besides randomly changing the dials and getting something total random.
cool tutorial helped me a lot but is there a way to controll several contollers with one other fx controller for example if you have many basses and you want to have a volume controller only for all your basslines? thx
So I was editing the effect on the claps and noticed that the clap in the main beat was also affected by this effect. Why is that and can you separate this?
My OCD dislikes you moving windows to the center when they were in an empty space. Can you apply FX to certain parts of the "channel" and not have it full time? Like say on certain notes in 1 segment it's on and another part of the song on same notes, FX off?
Lesson number one if you want to teach someone; work out your lesson before hand. This video was far too frustrating for me, as the 'teacher' did not determine what track they were going to use and then, once selecting a track, it had surprises in it that were irrelevant to the lesson. This video would be a great deal better if you prepared beforehand - streamlining the recording to only what is relevant to learn. No one really wants to listen to all the little asides and diversions. Concentrate on why you are doing this video and then present the best, most efficient means of doing so by not presenting it with distractions and mistakes.
Thanks for the feedback! I apologize for any frustration I've caused in the learning of an already difficult program. I'm always trying to give my best and improve and refine my techniques and presentation. I'll take you're comment into consideration when making tutorials in the future.
@@TJFREE Personally, I value the free-flowing approach you use and find the asides as educational as the core material. I find myself pausing the video to experiment with something provoked by the aside and am so learning far more than the content. Please don't become too restrained by the false Gods of pedagogy.
It's sorta motivating to observe how number of views gets smaller and smaller with every episode. And somehow, you still manage to watch and learn.

I found this useful, as I hadn't known how to assign different channels to different tracks or how to add different effects.

Hey, how do you change what fx a sample track is on?
My OCD dislikes you moving windows to the center when they were in an empty space.

How can I change the bpm on different basslines?
Helpful...thanks.
Does the tracks (1,2,3,etc) all route to master like fl studio?
Yes
