Great video! I did my 1st low buy month this January and I'm shocked how much I saved just by deciphering between needs & wants and choosing not to keep bringing unnecessary crap into my home.
I'm still going this month & I'm not sure if it will go all year 😂
Maybe, because it's an awesome experience in mindful spending and saving!

I find once you get a pen and paper and physically write everything down and then what your spending it shocks you. But in a good way. 😊

Vicky is terrific. Tip here: Befriend or acquaint yourself with staff in stores. Being loyal pays off. Why ? They can reduce prices, sometimes very substantially, for items that aren't selling. It works. Keep on saving 💪!

I completely agree with immediately moving funds earmarked for savings into a separate savings account once your pay hits your account. Out of sight, out of mind!

I like to buy books from my favourite charity shops! I’ve got some fab large hard back books that are brand new for £1.50! Yesterday I got some brand new White Stuff jeans for £8! 🤩. By far the worst money habit for me is my food shopping 🥴

Try reading Gretchen Rubin’s four tendencies. For some of us all or nothing is easier. Honest!

I have cerebral palsy and can't speak as fast or as clearly as you can. Can someone like me still be a youtuber? I worry that I am not good enough at public speaking?

Yes absolutely you can, it’s about what you can bring to the viewer in terms of info and help. I think very few people are naturally good at public speaking, it’s just about repeatedly putting yourself out there and practice.

I never buy any stupid brands like Adidas - cheap shoes, one pays the brand not the shoe. Good quality shoes of small european brands without well known names I spend money.
