  • This is in our 2020 Durango V6. Videos I've seen are on 2016 and older models and the oil filter and engine cover are a little different and not quite the same to take apart.
Yes I took this video after the change but figured I'd just recap quickly how to do it.

I used 6 point sockets,, 10mm 13mm and 24mm. that's all, was easy. Thank you for the video.

Changing the oil on my 2017 and found your video. Its the same cover. So it looks like this applies to 2017 and up. Thank you for the video, saved me some time sizing the plug and filter cover 😎

Very helpful to have you show how to get at the oil change components for the very same vehicle I have, the 2020 Durango 6 cyl. Thanks!

good video. Last time I checked in Jan 2020 on youtube, there were only 2016 and older Durango oil change videos. This oil filter location is similar to an Audi vehicle oil filter location but on the Audi it is easier to change. The Durango I have has this same filter location but had the dealer change the oil since bought a maintenance package when vehicle was new. Well, no longer have any maintenance package oil changes left so have to learn how to change the oil

I just did mine, 5 minutes ago. I didn't have to take off that cover. I don't know why you had to. You can slide that right out. The oil filter

Don't own dodge doing mom's 20 durango oil change today. Very simple. You don't even have to take out air intake, if you do it adds maybe 30 seconds.

How many liters do you put int the engine with the oil filter? Some people said 5.6 liters with oil filter and others said 5.7 liters with oil filter

Great video. Just bought a 2020 durango so it was perfect. Question, is the filter the same as previous models?

2016 you don't have to. They changed the engine cover a little for newer years

2016 myself, same design, intakes in the way, I have big hands, cover off way easier for me lol

@@dandoyle4814 yeah I did end up getting a shorty socket and a swivel and I can do it with the cover on. But in all honesty it's just as easy to take it off.

Question about your springs: Did you have to cut into anything? Do they rub?
