What I would do to be able to hear this song for the first time again.
I took a lot of emotion HP from this comment.
God do I feel that
If would do anything to hear it for the first time.
Shit still gives me goose bumps but that first time… sheesh
watching him I felt it.
As an elder emo I love you experienced this. Because this song was in every heartbreak playlist
Elder emo lmao
@@leaffie5756 Such a solid term lol
@@GenerationalDisappointment is that what we are? 😂
Elder emo hahaha, respect
@@leaffie5756I know it’s been over a year lmao, but yea, the emo elders of the scene kids
I love this song so much. The first time you hear that part, your gonna chase that high the rest of your life!
Best way to put this song into perspective ever.
Couldn’t have said it better! You summed it up perfect
Everytime I hear ‘I swear I’ll never be happy again’ I instantly start crying & smiling. 😭🥰 Best. Song. Ever. 🤘🏻
Literally same here, first time I heard this song was at the memorial seirbhís of one of my good friends who passed away from a heroin overdose at 16, I was only 14. I swore at that time that I would never be happy again, I am happier now, but the way that line hit at the time still resonates to this day.
This song live is my favorite song I’ve ever listened too. Being at a concert with a bunch of strangers and when this song starts everyone is just arm in arm singing along. Definitely goosebumps.
I've seen a lot of bands, vibes with a lot of crowds. Nothing will ever touch the magic of this song.
I’m going to be seeing them for the first time in October, and I’m hoping so much that they play this 🤞
@@almasipaige I've seen them twice and I 100% guarantee you they will. If they haven't played it yet, they aren't done playing. Last time I saw them people started leaving before the encores and missed it.
Watched them at download fest twice and each time they performed this song. The happiness I felt just hearing it live. Takes me back to being a teen again. So so so good
That was peak ADTR
After 6 years I still get chills Everytime
This song has been giving me chills for about 13 years now the vibe never dies continue to enjoy!
This song wrecks me EVERY SINGLE TIME that I hear it. It holds a very special place in my heart because it used to be the song that my girlfriend, of whom I grew up with off and on, would cover at karaoke night because it described how we dated in high school, but our relationship was tested because both of our fathers were in the army and we'd be separated for a months to even a couple years towards the end of high school, but it worked out. That is until a tragic event. She chose to go to my college to be with me, and I knew she was the one. However, 2 days before I planned to propose, some POS did a hit and run on her when she had the walk sign, and they came flying around a corner. I watched her pass away in the hospital right in my arms. I still blame myself to this day. I should've went to my original college of choice because she'd probably still be here. 💔
2:50 This makes me happy
3:10 Slight confused/stank face
4:57 good tune, okay at beach
Me at home fully understanding the lyrics : 😭😭😭
It's absolute facts you could listen to this song anywhere in the world in any situation and you'd feel something from it. It's outstanding.
If I could go back in time and do anything at all I'd relisten to all of my favorite songs for the first time again. Ugh what I would give to relive those experiences. ❤️
This song just takes me back to summer of 2013. One of their best songs.
No matter how many times I hear this song, I ALWAYS get goosebumps at the last lala part😭🖤🖤🖤🖤
But it’s not a happy song! The first time I heard it, it didn’t pull at my heartstrings, it absolutely DESTROYED them! Ahhh. To hear that song for the first time again.
I’ve heard this song live all 6 times I’ve seen ADTR live and it never fails to absolutely break me inside. I can only imagine hearing it again for the first time again.
Same goes with Terrible Things by Mayday Parade.
@@markfrix295 Terrible Things rips me to shreds every single time!!
man watching you experience this song for the first time made me sob like i was hearing it for the first time again. what an unbelievable experience this song is
Try A Day To Remember- Resentment…my favorite
one of the best live songs ever ever... seen adtr on every uk tour since 2008, manchester roadhouse.... such a band
Such a good song to end a concert/album on. You got people singing along, it's calm...then by the end people are really into it...The music gets loud and it's just pure emotion and energy to finish a concert and people can go home feeling they all experienced a "binding moment"
One of the absolute best. Also check out the downfall of us all, plot to bomb the panhandle.
Seriously check out Type O Negative! Gothic metal. (Personal favorite “i don’t wanna be me”) you won’t regret my boy!
You soooo need to listen to more of this band. They are my favorite band hands down. 😊😊
the things i would do to hear this song for the very first time again 🥲
This, but live for me
Goosebumps every time I hear it. Never gets old ❤️
I would give anything to be able to hear this song for the first time again!
Have you heard Into the Hellfire by Lorna Shore?
Also, as an ADTR fan for a long time you need to hear The Downfall of Us All and Mr Highway’s Thinking About The End.
I’ve heard this song thousands of time and have the same reaction.
I saw them at Camden koko in like 2011 or something (it’s a tiny music venue in Camden) and they had just gotten pretty successful, they played this as their last song and had to stop half way trough because the crowd was so loud and it reduced them to tears. It was amazing I wish I could go back 🥲
LA LALALA uhLALALAAAAAAAA
Damnnn, those memories of that breakdown 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Highly recommend anything by I Prevail but my personal faves are Bow Down, Hurricane, and Every Time You Leave (this has similar vibes to this).
Every time you leave is definitely a same vibe as this. Gasoline and Stuck in your Head are two other great ones imo
@@andrewmcconnell5699 agreed! Honestly they haven't made a song I didn't like yet!
When in basic training this was one of the songs that I would repeat sing in my head in all of the boring/bad moments. I had wrote it down on a piece of paper at one point just so I could remember the lyrics
You know, it was an honor watching you listen to this for the first time. It brought me back to when I was a kid first listening to it. And I never met anyone who didn’t already know the song. It was great seeing you feel it for the first time. Because it was an eye changing (maybe ear changing idk) for me when I was in your shoes.
this is such an amazing channel
Got tears in my eyes... Watching someone living my dream and listening to this Song for the first time... man I would give everything for this ❤ Tysm ❤
If you liked this... definitely need to listen to Remembering Sunday by All Time Low
Can see bro feeling it. ❤️
I love that in the beginning you're like "...eeh, I don't know about this shit." And then it brings the EPIC at the end, and you go "Recognize!"
Lovely reaction.
Saw you on TT thought I’d sub on here as well, good reviews bro and you’re literally reviewing iconic songs, it’s great 👍🏻 keep ‘em coming bro!
Mate the nostalgia. Listening to this as a teen without a care in the world, love it.
I had to leave Ocala for a myriad of reasons when I was 23 but songs like this take me back there instantly. Back to high school when adtr was in its infancy.
This makes me real happy 😭
Watching your face hearing the drop at the end for the first time made my day
I got so excited watching this because I knew what was in store for you 🥺😭
Such a great song, but so different from the rest of ADTR’s stuff 😂 still one of my favorites
Oh man one of my favorite bands, ADTR is so dope.
Bro, you’re my favorite reaction person! Listened to the whole song without stopping for stupid fake crap! I will watch every video from you regardless of song genre! Subscribed!
The danger in starting a fire needs to be next on the list man.
Bring me the Horizon - Sleepwalking
you'll love it
Yo your videos are just enjoyable and give off that amazing energy, keep doing what you do
...Exactly 🤟
So pure
Need to listen to Gabrielle aplin cover of this
Ok. It appears nobody has given suggestions for him to get a taste of extreme metal.
Lorna Shore - To The Hellfire.
Also, how about bands that started the emo/screamo movement.
Poison the Well - Botchia
Boysetsfire - Rookie
Underoath - A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black
And of course many others. But he seems to listen to a lot of what I call “radio rock”, it’s all radio friendly. Give him some more variety.
In the hellfire is operatic metal. I mean “BUTT ROCK” or TJ maxisms play a part but also look at his channel. Variety is great but also think more broad nd viewer reaction friendly.
The fact your only suggestion for "extreme metal" is Lorna shore shows you know next to nothing about heavy music 😂 nice try
@@spankyx666 you are cute. Maybe some Amorphis, Agorophoc Nosebleed? Berserker? The Black Dahlia Murder? Job For A Cowboy? The Boy Will Drown? Brain Drill? Dead to Fall? How many bands you want me to fucking list? I was just naming something people of todays era will know. You need to chill out and not try to bully people. I have been listening to metal probably longer than you have been alive.
You don't start someone's journey into a new genre by throwing the most extreme shit at them from the get go, especially something like metal which gives most people a natural hesitation in the first place. You ease in them, start with the 'radio friendly' stuff, let them get a taste for it and how it sounds and work your way up to shit like Deicide.
Expecting someone to jump straight into what is essentially Deathcore/Death Metal isn't the way forward.
I’d like to thank my elder emos for showing me the way with a day to remember
If you like a vocally driven song and then get hit by a wall of music listen to new American classic by taking back Sunday
"I like it tho yknow, the soft rock makes me smile 😃"
Lyrics: "You know you cant give what i need, and event though you mean so much to me, i cant wait through everything."
🤣🤣🤣
Glad he was able to be happy listening to it cause the majority of who listen to it aren’t happy when listening 😂
Homesick is one of the best albums ever made.
Agreed!
Always knew about ADTR since 2012 when I was 12 but never got into them until I broke up with my girlfriend at the time in 2020. Long distance relationship made me relate to this song and I would always get hella emo to this song lol. Now I know I’m in the right direction when I can just jam out to the song and not think of my ex lol. Sometimes it slips up and I think of her to this song but I’m now a better person and I’m content with myself! I put everyone to this song too lmao
3:10 - 3:15, the way his face changed ❤️💔 we’ve all felt that.
Lost realist by Trapt!
This song reminds me of gloomy times. But I love hearing.
You need to listen to more hard hitting songs by them. I recommend listening to their latest release, Miracle!
More adtr please! They have phenomenal stuff. Over my head (Cable Car) is great.
If you like this you should try;
Asking Alexandria - someone somewhere.
They have an acoustic version which is 👌
Here from TikTok 👍🏻 , adtr was it growing up !
Have you listened to New Found Glory yet? Their music shaped a lot of the bands you’ve been listening to. My fav song is Head On Collision 😌
Listen to Hollywood Undead - Undead or California or just any of there songs there all good
45 by shinedown
React to anything off the “someone in control” album by Trapt 🙏🏼
I still SHRIEK in the car at the end of this song
If you like this then listen to the downfall of us all by then
Any chance you could listen to Racing in the Street by Bruce Springsteen? Not his most popular song but the lyrics are 👌🏻
Is that the first ADTR song he heard? He got tricked. Lol.
I’d like to see him react to 2nd sucks or paranoia
wym
@@TheMovieJunkiez they don’t do only soft rock is all he means :)
If I could suggest a few songs:
Forget Me Too by Machine Gun Kelly (his pop punk album)
Carry on My Wayward Son by Kansas (true classic rock)
Listen to Naivety by ADTR!!
am i the only one who says "MY BRUVUH HMMMMMM" every opening
saw your eyes watering dont lie big man is ok XD XD
Lola Montez by Volbeat
Anything by ADTR is worth at least one listen. Do it up
You nedled to listen to Miricle now. Or even they're full discography ha
Wait till you hear The Downfall Of Us All.
react to more adtr plzzz
Do this ain’t a place for animals by hands like houses!
The second I saw this slide up on TikToc, I literally said out loud OH HE AINT READY
And then I watched it, and he TOTALLY MISSED THE POINT. 🙄🙄
Lol this song he wanted to pee on his girl but she wanted that golden rain now and he said no we gotta wait until we get home. Like wtf LOL.
This song is boring lol go heavy a day to remember like 2nd sucks or sticks and bricks
