I just scored an overall 82% on my assignments on prisms because of John and these videos! I’m so grateful, the simple but informative explanations make things SO much easier to understand. Thank you!!! 🙌🏻 xx
This man is amazing. He does a fantastic job of explaining difficult optical concepts. He would be an excellent professor in any community college that teaches optics
dear sir i am anurag from india. planning to start my own optical retail store but i don't have much knowledge as optician but after watching some of your videos i feel that this work is not too complicated. thanks for your help sir i will be always grateful to you may god bless you..🤗🤗
Thanks for your videos, I am a store manager at a new optometry company, they really don't give good training at all and my optometrist is a new grad so she doesn't know much either, these videos are better training than my company gives...
This guy is awesome. Learn about eyeglass frame fit before you buy your next pair. People go for fashion and sales people at the stores don't care about your fit. Temples, nose, bridge - all those sizes matter.
I saw in a book, is it correct to move 0.25mm towards the vertex per prism and process it? Let's say a patient has 10 B.I. in his right eye. (R PD=32.5) Is it right to process the PD according to 35 because the eyes move toward the vertex when wearing the prism lens? I'm mixed up.
Do you have any videos about prism glasses? I have a friend who lost part of his vision due to a stroke. His doctor said prism glasses would solve his problem. Well, I understand the concept, but how is it put into practice with a pair of workable prism glasses?
I'm just a normal person who likes and wears glasses but wants to study to be a dispensing optician. Would the math get in the way for people who don't get math beyond the basics?

Thank you Peter, You may want to check out the Optician Qualification Standard, if you haven't seen it yet. ruclips.net/video/EqKZabmZyps/видео.html
