You had such a great trip with an awesome itinerary. I think the NZ series is the best one you’ve made yet. Well done Phoebe & Matt! Thanks for sharing the full itinerary and once NZ reopens I’ll make sure to be there! Have a great week 🤙
ohhhh :) Thanks, Felix! We'll be filming back around Queensland again over the coming months and, hopefully, we start to be able to travel out of state and out of the country again by the time Christmas and the New Year roll around! P x
Watched all of your New Zealand videos to help plan our next trip! Your videos are incredible and informative, I feel really confident that we have a good itinerary now! Thank you for your amazing content, I've subscribed 😊 x
Thank you SO much, Zoe. I cannot tell you how much reading your comment brightened my day. We put so much time and work into our videos and to hear from someone that it's helped them just makes it all worth it. You're an angel. Thank you for starting my week off so well :) Phoebe x
Thank you so much!! We'll be doing some more local stuff over the next few months and hoping travel starts to open up again into the new year :D Matt's having a big surgery on his ankle so best we don't make climb any mountains for a few weeks afterwards hehe P x
I’m planning a 4-5 week trip to see both island in November 2025. When do you advise on booking hotels and activities? If I book in advance it doesn’t offer me flexibility if weather changes the circumstances. Should I just pay when I do that activity? Or book online? Paying at the venue offers flexibility but don’t want to miss out if no open spots. For fox glacier hello hike will there be a high chance that I have to reschedule? Your advice is greatly appreciated!
Great overview as I plan my first trip to New Zealand. I''m just curious as to what you would think is an appropriate budget per day (in NZD) for mid-range lodging, meals, and fuel in the shoulder seasons (Oct.-Nov. or Mar-Apr.).
Thank you for the tips and great videos. Can I ask what time of the year you did that trip? Me and my girlfriend are planing around 2weeks in June. I know that north can be quite rainy and very cold and snowy on the south, but it's just to have a more visible idea on what to expect. Thanks and keep up the good work!!
That's tough, I mean, it would really depend on where you plan on visiting. If you were just visiting Queenstown and just staying there, based in a hotel right in the heart of everything, you could be okay. If you plan to do any sightseeing or visit multiple places, Uber or a Taxi won't cut it! I'm not sure if they even have Uber there to be honest.
Thanks Phoebe, I enjoyed watching this video since I have never been to that area at all. All the places look really nice and I'm sure the food was just as good
Thanks for your travel video. Your way of presentation is very good. I see your video for the first time today. I appreciate you. Regards Shafik Bangladesh
Aloha Phoebe, We have been watching all you videos about New Zealand. We follow quite a few RUclipsrs and think you are fantastic. We are planning to more or less follow your 23 day Epic N & S Island road trip although we might fly to Twizel rather than take the ferry and do the long drive day to Christchurch where we were many years ago on our honeymoon. We love hiking and the Mt Cook area seems great. Do you think it matters if we go in mid October or mid November?
Thank you so much for watching and for the truly lovely comment, it really made my day :) You are going to have the most wonderful time on your road trip! Honestly, with NZ, you really can't go wrong. Yes I think October and mid-November would be lovely. NZ is so beautiful you'll have a great time no matter when you visit (it's just best to avoid school holidays if you can).
Thanks for the itinerary and travel tips! this channel is awesome and super helpful! P.S you guys had such mouth watering food and great shots throughout the trip 😁
Hallo find to watching is it amazing all are beautiful the places are attractive but not see the whole things it separate part to part becouse of during dia day appearing not clear enough so that lack of watching eventually listen while you talk incredible excited all great energy and trenght .
The problem of visiting NZ is that you have to move constantly every 2 days!. That’s exhausting for me. For those of us who don’t drive it’s a great difficult route.
I don't understand why New Zealand never became a state of Australia. Completely senseless for it to be an independent nation when statehood provides for a fair degree of autonomy. Australia + New Zealand makes for a stronger nation in these challenging times.
I think this is the best I’ve seen from you till now
Thank you so much :)
Excellent tips. When I was driving around South Island. I took my time and pulled over a few times, took photos, observed the scenery, etc.
Thanks, Gordon! That's the way to do it - nice and slow so you can really enjoy that beautiful scenery. Hope you have a great week - Phoebe x

Hello! Thanks so much for watching 🙌🏻😊 we did our trip through June and July. We’ve visited at this time of year many times in the past and loved it!
I wouldn't want to drive for my trip as I have another country to travel to and I want to save energy. Would you recommend Uber or any taxi apps?
