Gosh, it looks like you hit the jackpot for pale moon top patterns. It's so otherworldly, as if It's almost reminiscent of the swirling clouds in Jupiter's atmosphere.
Thanks for the video! Someone in a review said the high E kept slipping off the edge of the frets. Did you notice anything like that? I've had a guitar in the past that did that, and it was super annoying, and after seeing that review I'm paranoid. Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to watch it! I haven’t had that issue. In fact, i’ve played many of them and haven’t seen that. I did have to set it up as soon as I got it, but that’s to be expected.
Hi, just wondering how this guitar feel when you tune it to drop A? I heard that this guitar is not 26.5 inch scale so I'm kind of worry about the bottom string tension. By the way great video though
I appreciate you checking it out! It feels good, thanks the how the bridge works. You can set up each string separately, that means you can use whatever gauge you want you use per string and whatever tuning on them.
I read a review that said it didn't do well for them in drop A because it's not a multi scale guitar. They said in drop A the string was too loose and then they changed the strings to a heavier gauge and it was still too loose in A. But that was only one review, you might check around to see if other people said the same thing
@@MatthewRoach-n5s that’s what I’m thinking about, short scale length with thick string just doesn’t sound so good, before I got my first seven string I tried it on regular six string i mean it’s usable but not even close to a extended scale seven strings. It lose the brightness which to my taste it is a essential part of a good tone
Just a little edit you may want to do. That’s a QX527 since it has slanted frets it has to be a QX. I was confused at first lol
Pinning the comment! Thanks for the correction, always forget Ibanez has a letter for everything lol.

Thank you! I agree, the top on it looks surreal.

The switch is NOT a preamp. It is a coil tap/split. Period
Ibanez calls it a preamp switch (Dyna-mix10) 🤷🏻♂️
