This film was not only beautifully presented, but inspiring! I've always enjoyed painting, but tend to live too much in the past and too far into the future. This film made me realize we only have today!

He's got quite a few studios to work in or about, as I can tell from the video.
    Art success story for sure.

Thank you for this brief look into this talented artists mind and studio. Does he really paint in that beautiful little room at that B+B? His work is very good, I wonder how he sells it? But that would be a very different type of film. I like the questions you asked him and his answers made me stop and think about my own art.

I'm glad you like the film "The Colours of Life" and it gives you a lot to think about your art. Jack paints his paintings mostly in his studio "Art Cypria", but also sometimes in "Tina's Country Home". It was this building, or rather its interior design, that enticed me to make a film with the painter. Jack, of course, sells his paintings. I don't know the details. In the film I focused on his art and thoughts.

@@danielstanislawski9734 I can see why you would be inspired in those little cozy rooms, filled with colors and textures and so much to look at! He fit right in there!
I wonder how much the location in the world affects the artist? I remember how going to the Southwest US felt light and airy, kind of freeing. Hawaii was also full of a different kind of energy. Now I live in Scotland and it's duller many days but still beautiful and inspiring. It's interesting to think about. I guess we paint what we see or feel, and usually an artist can 'see' what others miss. Beauty all around us! Cheers and I did enjoy the film.

I like the film. The art work is very beautiful. I don't get inspired by other people. I usually look at the environment. Sometimes their work space is too full of things. I only have a small table. My laptop, 3 little boxes of color pencils, and one small row of recycled paper that I use to create my art work. For my music I have flash drives where I save my recordings. I also save my art work on flash drives as well. I discard the papers afterwards. I decided to create digital works, because it's less clutter. I don't like anything in the way. I can't think, and my mind gets stuck. When I can put things away I'm content. Having a laptop is very useful. I can compose music, write my books, develop my photography, and add my art work into flash drives. I'm very organized.😊

Nice paintings, good production & scenery. My only feedback is that there too much like Thomas Kinkade, not stimulating to my mind. Pastoral & idyllic which has nothing to do with realities od life.
