Ahh my most played tank in the game! Got the bundle with the T-62 and T-69A and that lineup basically grinded me the entire Chinese tree with SL to spare (this was before reload nerf and when it was still 8.7). Had a lot of fun with it, and if I remember correctly it gave me my first nuke :))

It was OP at 8.3, so they pushed it to 9.0, but China 9.0 is already crowded with so many other great vehicles. I wish they would put it at 8.7 with the Object 122.

This actually came back as a permanent premium, it used to be hidden for some reason but now it's available for everyone cus a lot of people wanted it apparently, the Type 69-IIa is the one hidden.

@prestigexv2151 T-55M at 8.7 has almost the same firepower.
@@Kijbyhas worse protection compared to t55am and t69. it only has basic t55 armor, pretty much no armor at it's br against main caliber apds

I bought this in the December 2024 sale. This tank still does great. I have had so much fun with it.

To grind out the lineup sure, but after you get the Ztz88 you basically dont need it anymore as the Ztz88 are doing everything better than this.
