    Got Eibach 2.5" lift/level kit on 2013 4runner. Helped prevent notorious brake dive and much better on road manners! Downside - stiffer so worse off road. Great for on roaders 👍

    There was an issue of squeaking sound that comes out of the suspension. I met a guy who work personally with ARB in their R&D and has BP 51 installed on his 5th Gen 4Runner. Not sure if ARB has resolved the issue but something to look out for, specially after your Tundra video where you complaint about centre console noise 🤣. Great content as always. Keep up the good work. 👍

    TRD JON, can you show or recommend a video on how to adjust the ride height/preload height of the front coil over if I don't want the max lift?

    Does this kit come with diff drop brackets? Or is that even necessary for this setup?

  • @suetaylor1127
    @suetaylor1127 2 года назад

    I have the kit with total chaos upper control arms and a bunch of other mods like total chaos weld cam tab gussets and steering knuckle gussets. Trail gear weld rock sliders, icon lca skid plates, arb skid plate package, stop tech front big brake kit, afe momentum cold air intake, american thunder dual exhaust system, bed stiffeners, steel front winch bumper with 12,000 lbs winch, hellwig rear sway bar, 33 inch mudders with XD rims. One of my favorites the pedal commander super sport mode on plus 5 is a blast. Any ways the ome bp51 kit is a MASSIVE upgrade but insane it is not. It was the first thing i bought so i did little to no research. i should have king extended travel fron back shocks and later added a shock to the front back for a double bypass kit. Now thats insane because yoou can do insane things like jump your tacoma 30 feet or go rock climbing , thats insane my friend. OME needs to come out with a secondary shock for the front and back and that would prolly be insane too. I wish they would so i wouldn’t have to trade out my suspension system for kings.

    👋 through weeks of intense suspension research, I was able to chat with the owner of Shock Surplus. He talked bout his BP-51 set up. Low and behold, you have the same. Is everything you mentioned a year ago still hold true? Would you recommend them? Will LITERALLY make the purchase based on your response… no pressure 😂

    • @TRDJon
      @TRDJon  Год назад

      !))% still recomend them. The best kit i've put on a truck still. The dobinsons IMS kit is great on my Tundra, but this OME kit was AMAZING>

    Hello Jon. Do you think the Tacoma is too small for some one who is 6’ 2”. I think about one with a six foot bed but I think Honda Ridgeline but I don’t think the Ridgeline is as reliable.

    What's always disappointed me about the Tacoma are the rear "drum" brakes, how old school is that, my 2003 4runner has 4 wheel disc brakes and my 1999 Ford Explorer had 4 wheel disc brakes on it (before I took it to the field and put it out of it's misery). Get with the program Toyota wow. Just my Bug on Tacoma's after seeing those drum brakes in the video here. Thanks for the share Jon, enjoy them just the same. :) NC
