it is in fact an 05, but i think that this seat was native, as the interior wear on the metal parts are all consistent. still, i definitely will be replacing the seat cushion on this one. (its pretty hard and kinda rough)
I love the Metro. I'd better, seeing as I have four and a half of them (one is a spare parts machine). Quick question for you though. Why do you keep getting the Metro II? It's limited to 25 mph or so whereas the regular model, my daily rider Metro, holds 45 mph on the straights with all of my 240 pounds on it, and it climbs hills like a billy goat. Also, nice vid. 🙂
For me, the Met 2s are cheap. To fix the mph issue, literally unbolt the intake manifold and remove a quarter sized governor. Otherwise, fastest mine ripped was 52mph.
@@timhudson1846 yeah the 2002-2009 have the same engine, just governed differently than a ruckus. The newer models can be modified to keep up, but its a different motor, with a different power delivery in my opinion. Still 50cc, just not quite the same. Like no pump, it's gravity fed now.
Usually yes. If you're in the United States and it's an original point of sale, there will be a title. Not all states require it for registration. Some states will actually treat a scooter like a motorcycle. If you need a title there are ways of getting them through most state DMV sites.

Rev extender from NCY. Bypasses the ECU to continue sending fuel and spark. Like a piggyback.

If you're modifying... 2002-2009. If not, the new models are good, just be prepared for a different experience.

I'm in talks with a seller about a 50cc scooter. He has a bill of sale but idk about a title. Do 50cc scooters come with a title?
