All the 3 are very good. A RAT, a Marshal in a box anda a Big Muff. Very realistic sounds! I have the Shark, is fantastic!
The rude mouse and shark is all you will ever need if you are in a punk band. Go into a nice clean channel and you’re set. No noise gate needed. Believe me
Absolutely loved what you played with the Shark and Fazy Creme stacked at 15:35!
Thanks a ton Conor!!
Those are some pretty cool sounding pedals Eric!!! As always, you’re demos are excellent!!! As an aside, when you say a control gives you a darker sound, that’s what I live for, the darker sound!!! Great job man, keep bringing it!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Ya’know… I usually enjoy brighter guitar sounds but recently I’ve been leaning more in the same line as you and have been digging darker sounds. Thanks so much for watching Chris!
Nothing like stacking an Overdrive with a fuzz!
Those are some great tiny boxes! Great demo, Eric! Cheers!
Thank you so much Zach! Gain stacking is always a good idea! 🤘🤘😂😂
I am using Sonicake Sandman and Sonicake IR. LOVE IT!
Heck yeah!!!
I have the Donner Dark Mouse rat clone on my practice board, and it seems very similar to the Rude Mouse!? Exact same layout and sonically very similar, right down to the normal/hot toggle (turbo on the Donner pedal). Wonder if they use the same circuit? I love using a Rat style pedal as my "drive" section on small pedalboards as you can go from a light-ish rock overdrive through to a very convincing fuzz tone, in one pedal. Did really like the Shark though. That "voicing" toggle could help you really craft the tone you want. Great for such a cheap pedal.
Thanks again for watching! I’m honestly not sure about the Donner pedal and whether it’s using the same circuit. I could definitely see the possibility of them using the same circuit.
Nice demo, never expected that sound from the mouse on hot mod🤟
It’s pretty great right?!? Thanks for watching!
great demo !
Thank you!
Per suonare Black sabbath quale mi consigli di quelli?
Out of these three, I’d probably recommend the Rude Mouse
No offense, but I get bored of the Chinese mini-pedals. Granted, I'm pretty "OG" on them - I've had Mooer & Donner pedals since 2011- but that's the thing- it doesn't matter what name is on them, it's the same takes on Rats, Muffs, Tube Screamers, etc, etc. So, why replace what I already have? Especially when there's a lot of other circuits that could be tried- like how about Timmy's instead of Klon, MXR Distortion + instead of Rat, Tonebender instead of Fuzzface, etc etc. Your video is fine and detailed, so I hope you understand that it's nothing personal, I just have the shine worn off on mini pedals.
Thanks for watching! I totally agree with you, I’d love to see a wider variety of circuits in these mini enclosures. However, nobody is urging you to replace your existing pedals at all. If they work for you and you love the sound, then they’re perfect! But for new musicians and people just getting into pedals, it’s great to have these options and the others that you mentioned. 👍👍
@@EricMerrow funny you should mention that- new players- because I have something recent that speaks to that- my cousin has a 16 year old just now "graduating" from acoustic to electric, and my cousin asked me for advice- being a 16 year old, the kid totally ignored it, but I did suggest some specific mini pedals, because I don't know the kid, so it had to be stuff that would apply to a lot of styles- so I was suggesting the Mooer Hustle drive ( kinda OCD-meets TS) the Donner Yellow Fall ( really basic analog delay) and the Mooer Shim Verb ( besides doing the shimmer thing, does a good basic reverb). But, my point isn't how great my choices are, my point is there's a video I'd like to see. What would you suggest some 16 year old get, knowing that the budget is tight, but not knowing what style they want - a variation on the classic 'build a rig under X dollars'- but literally what gear in your opinion would work for anybody?
@@mattvanmantgem8600 I love that idea! There are so many different amps/pedals/gear out on the market that is friendly to all budgets so it would be a big but interesting task to kind of narrow down things!
@@EricMerrow glad you like it, and if you ever seriously want to do it- here's an idea for a title "Can't Miss Gear Gifts" ( making it holiday themed)....
SUBSCRIBED BECAUSE YOUR LEFT HANDED. IM RIGHT HANDED
Thank you!
Fazy Cream gives me creed vibes :P
Fazy Creed! 😂
I have that pedal and you just ruined it for me. Creed is the sound of whiny little Christian losers.
They sound good, but little pedals with side connections are a deal breaker because they don’t end up being any smaller
I definitely get what you’re saying. If you’re really wanting to save space, I bet those flat patch cables or some tour gear designs cables would definitely save the most space
