Been binging the Lego advent videos over the Summer and I’ve bought my first HP Lego advent calendar. Fingers crossed it’s a good one. 5 Points to Slytherin.
10:20 I don't think the "mysterious little turret" is the Chamber of Reception. The Chamber of Reception is a rectanguar-ish addition on the front of the Great Hall. It was only present from the exterior view of Hogwarts in the first three films and then was replaced with the courtyard (represented in this set). The little turret is known unofficially as the "Pepperpot" and its interior or purpose has not been revealed in any of the films or videogames yet. There is speculation that it houses Filch's office.
I think this is a great set overall. However, I wish that they've included extra pieces like jack-o'-lanterns and more food to create a full Halloween feast inside the Great Hall to make it more accurate to the scene in the book and film

Can't wait for the Grand Tower set to be revealed! 0:33 the normal retail price last summer was €169.99 and later got to €149.99, with sales even going to €119.99 - €129.99. 18:37 I was lucky enough to get Helga Hufflepuff (although I got her twice in the set)
I love how you did the building of the minifigures! That was really cool. I'm seriously considering getting this set now that's cool as the more display style Hogwarts set is and that $500 one my wallet doesn't like them very much lol
I have just purchased the Harry Potter advent calender for this year, my 10yr old daughter has the lego friends version. We really loved the videos last year and really hope there will be something similar this year?
I will deff waith for a most realistic version where under the hall there will be the kitchen... and the hall will have the tables for all. also the roof... the roof shoud be Transparent.. and this gives so many options for adding elements and "changing" the weather. they shoud include those elements the same way they included the different sharf colors for the houses in the Hedwig icons set.
