Lakers had 11seconds when LeBron took that hero/zero shot.
He didn't even organise a better play which can wind down the shot clock and acquire a higher percentage shot.
Why he didn't make full use of that 11 seconds and at least draw a shooting foul?
"organize a better play for a higher percentage shot"? while you have a wide open shot opportunity? that is a 60-70% shot there and he just happened to miss, that's all. and it was not a hero/zero shot, it would have been if they were down but they were not, he missed and the game was still tied, no guarantee they would have lost, it just happened that way.

LeBron was pissed and right fully so. The Nuggets are too good. It's like the fiddler. They will let the Lakers dominate in the first half then go for the kill in the second half. No excuse whatsoever to let go of 20 point lead regardless of these refs obviously fudged a lot of the calls. I'm not giving up on the Lakers. If they win Game 3, take it one game at a time, this could be a series. I won't count out LeBron but someone has to play with some real urgency now.

Honestly, this is one of the strongest points about why LeBron is in the conversation for GOAT. Look at the list of coaches he has led to the Finals -- Paul Silas? Tyrone Liu? Frank Vogel? Mike Brown? What do all those coaches have in common? The ONLY time they have been deep in the playoffs is when this one dude from Ohio was playing for the team they were coaching at the time. :)

We had Lonnie walker on a vets minimum contract that won an entire playoff series for us high flying and the front office traded him away. You replace reaves minutes with max christie and lonnie lebron might have been able to set the last 2 minutes. The lakers front office is wild.
