I had a cardiac arrest 2 years ago. It instantly chanced my life. I can no longer work. I have some memory loss as a result. I am on oxygen and walk with a walker. I have found birding and that also has changed my life. I get so much job for listening and see the birds around my home. I am not sure where I would be with birding. Getting out side even though it is a challenge uplifts my spirits. I enjoyed the video.
I haven't seen anyone with disability birding when I am birding yet. Many of the birding sites are not accessible to wheelchair. I hope campaigns like this will push forward the construction of more accessible facilities for these people
This is a fantastic initiative and it's wonderful to hear about the Birdability organisation. I've checked out the Birdability Map and added the first birding site to Sydney, Australia and what appears like the second birding site to Australia. Hopefully we see further sites submitted for birders in or visiting Australia! I'll be sure to take note of further accessible birding locations in Australia while out filming birds. The checklist of questions as part of submitting a birding site really made me realise how inaccessible many locations are (single steps, surface quality, inclines/ramps, frequency of benches for rest spots, shade etc) Thanks for sharing this video!
Almost everybody, at almost any time, to almost anywhere. A pen and tablet to write notes, maybe binoculars, maybe a camera (cell phone), probably a seat. For sure friends and enjoyment. Courtesy of Half Vast Flying

The world would be so much better with more birders in it. ✨🌿🐦
