@@katherineparadis-chateaune8004 Hi Katherine, really you would not believe how bad we were - I was 2nd clarinet so not in a position to influence the butchery. If you want to hear a good version of this might I suggest Bas Wiegers and the Munchen Chamber Orchestra? Compare and contrast!
I know Wiegers performance, it's very funny you mention this one cause actually when I wrote about the energy of this orchestra I got precisely the one by Wiegers in head, which I liked before I hear this one, and before you wrote I went back today listening to Wiegers and trying to figure what I could feel wrong about it since I got whole new tempi here. I focused of the first movement and really Wiegers fails at giving us the joyfull energy cause he breaks the thing in many blocks (I'll give one example) and this gives a sense of development in the romantic way. Usually I recognized those unclassic way rapidly but for Wiegers the sound is so well done, it nevers becomes too much nor limp, that I didn't ask myself questions. Now if you forget here about the sound (and you do know that they have not at all the same quality of sound engineer although I agree that it isn't the only factor here), and focus on the phrases, don't you think there are a lot more joy in this interpretation?
You did Great......Listen to No One......BRAVI from Acapulco!

Great tempi !!
This is soo good ❤
The last movement always gives me the impression people are signing!
Sounds a bit like my old school orchestra murdering Schubert. What the hell, you can tell what it is, more than you could say for poor Schubert.

@@yurastoyan5973 Not angry, smiling really. Not sure bad Haydn is better than no Haydn, maybe.
I do hear Haydn's genius, but about poor Schubert I'm inclined to believe you 😁
The energy of this orchestra is nice really.
