Laurent Rosset absolutely. the band that got me into Rock in 86 and my first ever concert in 89 and still love them too this day. Simply the best live band I have seen. Joey's voice is faultless live.

I remember first listening to this when it came out, I must have been 13 years old at the time. Crazy how time flies. Not really listening to much rock music anymore but still awesome to listen to this after all the time!

Making a Rocksong like the Final Countdown, not just one lucky hitsong. They can pull it of over and over again. Even today, like this one. Perfect performance and tune. 30 years later, and still not old and boring rockers, but fresh as ever. Only not enough people seem to know it. Fools!

Wow, I feel ashamed I have overlooked such great music all these years. I guess I assumed everything sounded like Final Countdown. This is freaking awesome. Now I’m re-examining their whole catalog

The discography of Europe it's a quite interesting, they has a lot of changes in their sound across the years. The album of this song it's awesome too~
The Final countdown was their biggest course but they made some other great records they are very good another great band to come from Sweden Rock The Night and supersistious are among my top 3 favs

If now we lived in the eighties, this would have been a big hit. Not that it sounds like the eighties, but people seemed to have a better taste and this kind of hardrock would have been apriciated! Again some great artwork of this band!

if you mean the best ones, I'll tell you some of my favorites (it's just an opinion of course) : in my time, gonna get ready, rock the night, scream of anger, prisoners in paradise, days of rock n roll, nothin' to ya, new love in town, not supposed to sing the blues, ready or not, no stone unturned, seven doors hotel,..... it's so hard to choose !!!

You have to to continue making great music to span 3 decades and Europe have done that. Their new stuff stands on its own so well. Joey is a vintage rocker and what about John Norum, a legend guitarist up there with Sambora and Slash and Vai. The whole band still sounds great. I'd go see them again.
You forget Synyster Gates (Avenged Sevenfold) he is the legend guitarist too. Legend of new school metal.
Hugely underrated group. In many ways their huge hit "countdown" was a hindrance and not a help, these guys have always had raw talent with tons of musical talent, the guitar riff on this is rare and raw. Sometimes your biggest hit can be your demise. Glad to see these guys rocking in their 50s.
I agree, but without Countdown they'd have fewer fans like me; I'm 15 and I discovered them a couple years ago from listening to Countdown, and here I am now

I heard this song live at the Alcatraz in Milan in 2015, simply fantastic.
Joey Tempest no longer has the voice of the past, but live still have incredible energy.

This song has the same energy as The Final Countdown and what a great way to say fk it we're going for it. I was kind of worried prior to this album because Joey's voice sounded kind of depressed, but now they're 60 yrs young & touring & playing festivals 🎙🎸

I would LOVE to see Europe in the States. I mean I would REALLY REALLY LOVE TO SEE EUROPE IN THE STATES! I never did see them when they came through the last time. I listened to them from the first album on Hot Records (Thank you Record Exchange!) but when they came through after "Final Countdown" hit big, the sound had changed. And no John Norum either. But when they came back together in 2004 the music was on it's way back to where they were in say, 1984. I love how they have grown musically and I love that they are in it this time for the long haul.
They go on tour with Foreigner and Kansas this 2020!
