My advice, never never ever marry a single mum with daughters. I married one with 3 daughters who ended up being single mums before they turned 16. Now i am raising 3 stepgrandchildren. Its become a living nightmare on the finances. Also there no rest and no they are NOT a friggen blessing.

Moving in April, wife furnishing home, leaves next month. I gave her 200k to work with, she / I built her home on her gifted generational property. 170k USD , built compound around brother in laws home ( worked 20 years for me ) he retires by choice in 3 years / her moms / ours , @170k USD, gated 3 home community. My Wife designed it, I said not a word ( but give me 1 huge shower and seating ) and gave her dream I had promised some 25 years ago, and 24 years later @45 she leaves for 16 days and comes back and then we go back together to literal island paradise, 9 hours north of Manila ( new freeway cuts 2 hours off drive ) . I’m retired @56 , income for life, no bills , minimal I should say. Beautiful brown skinned beauty I have not taken my eyes off in those 24 years. Met her here , her aunt who worked for me “ had a niece “ I’d be interested in, my jaw dropped drooling like a schoolboy and 3 months later our first son conceived and here we are about to retire young! Well she couldn’t have been any better of a spouse, kept me in check, kept me alive while busting my butt to retire this young. Nope not a serviceman neither, served in Army long before we met though. Gonna keep my head low, do my beach 🏝️ thing, trike it home back to wifey and wake up God willing, and do it again. I am not a lawyer but there is kind of a way around this, create a Trust or Long Term 50 year long Locked in Lease with the property owner.....the lease will out live you.
