- Chardel Buss-Tings Rhoden backed by the cream of UK reggae musicians rehearsing her hit song 'IN YOUR MIND' at the Theorem/BBMC music rooms prior to the farewell celebrations in honor of our brother, music promoter and mentor TJAE ELLIS..........
Go dig out your SUBSCRIBE button right now, to declare your support for our darling Chardel and her wicked band, and we'll do our best to get her touring somewhere near you..........
This was remarkably evening that we now recognize as a truly 'A SUPERNATURAL MOMENT IN TIME' (what a wicked advert this is for UK reggae music)...
I'm still shaking with the energy and vibes still pumping through my core as if it were yesterday....
A monumental amount of spiritual blessings seemed to be washing over all of us in that rehearsal room..... What a mind-blower of a music session... And with regards to the avalanche of positive comments, it's clear that you're all getting off 'in your feelings' watching Chardel (vocals), Horseman on the Cabassa and Diane Black our wicked female bass player. We're working hard trying to get the band touring and hopefully visiting a venue near....Make contact with your local promoters to check me directly. E:clubskaaville@yahoo.co.uk and we'll bring Chardel to your town..
In my humble opinion, this performance is infused with some strange and unearthly transcendental qualities. Please remember to subscribe so you can access more footage from similar rehearsals and performances.
I've since learned that TJ aka Tjae (RIP) actually requested Chardel to sing this song at his funeral and he got final his wish.
Very soon after posting this, we began to notice that lots of activity with thousands of people soaking up the music...... We started to ask ourselves, can CHARDEL RHODEN's vid achieve 3000 SHARES?
That was the maximum view that we were actually expecting because it was not a gig, it was a Nine Night rehearsal.
Current viewing stats show that we were aiming our sights way too low...But isn't hindsight a wonderful thing?.
As you can see (from the comments posted below) music lovers are blown away globally by this video, and it's good to see that UK Reggae music is reaching all corners and mashing up di place all over the world.
As I said earlier, please Like, Subscribe and leave your comments, requests, and words of encouragement if you think this track deserves to be re-released.
Since the original posting of this video on my Ray Carless fb page, the 'SHARING' statistics have rocketed to a mind-blowing 1500 facebook shares, and that seemed quite a substantial amount back then, but we've now crossed the magical threshold of 1 MILLION VIEWS .
BTW please take a second to big up our 'HORSEMAN'... UK drummer/percussionist playing the shaker and energizing and vybzing up in the vid.
Also Big Up female bass player Diane & Caroline the big bosses of Real Talk Records who produced this tune.

You can also check me out (the sax player in the band) at www.raycarless.com or E: clubskaaville@yahoo.co.uk
I Believe that this vid has no boundaries because it's honest sincere and real.

BIG UP Chardel 'BussRecords' Rhoden who was still chilling at home with her family while oblivious to the fact that this rehearsal vid was tearing up the place and shattering all our previous records om our Club Skaaville RUclips Channel....
BIG UP our farewell concert in memory of our brother and great friend T'jae Ellis who had been responsible for the up-keep of the Brent Black Music Studios. Our friend Errol Cross described it as 'A SUPERNATURAL MOMENT IN TIME'
T'jae had just passed away and we were having a tribute concert prior to sending his body back to Jamaica for burial, and it's as clear as a bell that T'jae's spirit/energy was/is still with us because the video has smashed all of our previous expectations and is still bounding along up up up....
I genuinely believe that with your continued support we'll break the 2000 FB shares/likes barrier. I can't explain it, but this raw footage from this vibezy practice session must surely be in the running for attracting the most interest in a pre-concert un-dress rehearsal.
There must be quite a few artists out there who'd consider eating their right arm (& possibly both legs) to notch up such a serious amount of views/shares ahead of a performance.....All courtesy (we believe) of Tjae Ellis...RIEP.........
I actually prefer this to the recorded version. Love the energy of live musicians, you can't beat it.
I agree with you. If they recorded this version, it would be so perfect!
I feel the same way. They locked it in
Me too. Much more powerful this version.
The man in front playing a seemingly easy instrument but keeping it disciplined without the need to over play to impress, adding value instead.
It's the man in the front for me too...but all together a MAD beat. The rhythm is contagious ❤
he's also a good drummer i saw him in another video on the same channel
Reggae is an extremely democratic and disciplined form of music. It is as much about when NOT to play as it is about when to play. And reggae has a structure that is so natural, it just doesn't sound right when musicians don't know it and don't understand when to play and when not.
His name is Winston Williams aka Horseman, he is an amazing artist and has been making music for multiple decades with other great musicians as a drummer and MC. This video is awesome!
@@jn3242 thanx for info.
As much as this song is awesome, I find myself listening to it over and over again just to hear that addictive Base chord. The Base player, SHE is killing it ! RESPECT !
I thought it was just me that Bass is serious i know the song by heart lol
Me too so you're not alone, the bass is cool and smooth 🎸
studio version is not recorded well, this one is brutal.. low E flat is killing it
@@MatijaVabec I'm glad you noticed that. I've heard 3 to four version of it too. Asa a matter of fact, I heard the final performance of this rehearsal and wasn't remotely as good as this version.
I'm over 60, of course it's not recorded well but it reminds me of that basement sound in NY, as a kid growing up listening to my late brother (drummer) rehearsing at a friend's house especially with that heater in room 😂 I Love it
I can't believe I m coming back after 5yrs to listen to this magic...Love Love to all of you!!
Man so heavy, it's like a train without breaks , just can't stop it. Well gotta go and chase it once more again.
Só quem ama o reggae sente o poder dessa pedradaaaa powpowpow ❤️💛💚

I like everything about this video but the especially the empress on the bass and the brother on shaker
Yes Chris, this is an example of UK reggae, the real deal happening right here, but don't forget the outstanding ingredients, first up, our scintillating vocalist aka Chardel Rhoden, the composer of this wicked that is a collaboration with co-writers and 'REAL TALK'' record label executives Diane bassy' Black driving the bass line, and Caroline Williams tinkling the ivories...What a performance,
particularly with the Horseman (a world-class drummer in his own right) killing it on the shaker.....This can be accurately described as a definite game-changer in the realms of rehearsal performances......

Indeed 👑 just discovered this 🥂Gwan D on the guitar ❤❤❤
Hope you enjoyed this video, I'm one of the horn players in the room at this sensational and creatively mad rehearsal. The ancestors were there in the room pushing us on that night...No doubt about it, they were planning a great welcome for TJ.... I'm the guy wearing the bright red jumper......Just letting you know that I've got another little vid that I want to show you...I think you'll find it interesting and jokey...It's titled 'Mad Saxman (moi) Strikes Again'....The musical backing is an original roots jazz tune that I recorded the very next morning after the government announced that masks were going to be made compulsory.....As if COVID19 is afraid of a flimsy likkle mask.... Our hard-headed 'World-Class Covid-Idiot-Government' makes me want to vomit with their constant boasting. They'd just made another unexpected and out of the blue disclosure that I thought they did without proper research...But I'm generally a law-abiding citizen and decided quickly just to follow their instructions....Looking back maybe possibly as some of you have commented, a little too literally? I grabbed my Jamaican flag mask, wrapped it around my face, and proceeded to blow my horn to the backing of our track 'MAs many of you will already know, the entertainment industry amongst other industries has been very badly affected by the pandemic, and many entertainment workers.
Nice Jam session...good vibes
