I feel bad for your dad. It's atrocious that your mother would divorce him. It's yet another reason why as a man i will never get legally married to a woman in America. The divorce laws and courts are extremely biased against men, there is tons of risk to us men ( losing $, our kids, our property ect) and literally no upside to marriage for us that we can't get from a girlfriend. 55% of marriages end in divorce and 80% of the time its the woman who initiates the divorce and she can do it for any reason or no reason at all except shes bored of you and feels like leaving and taking your $/ house/ kids and screwing a new man in your house while the government makes you pay her alimony. All these modern women want traditional husbands and a dream wedding but most of them don't want to be traditional wives. The impact her kidney donation creates extends beyond drinking alcohol. She may have complications if/when she decides to have a baby and a host of other potential health issues. Where were her parents/family/friends to advise her when she was making this decision?!!!
Nowhere. She made an emotional decision. It’s not like her family could’ve been more informed than her about it though considering most people don’t know you have to have an exact DNA match for bone marrow transplants which means if your biracial kids ends up with leukemia you nor the father/mother wouldn’t be able to save your child and you’d have to hope someone else has the same biracial genetic mixture.
So? Is that supposed to discourage race mixing? There are mostly whites on that bone marrow registry and whites have less generic diversity (inbreeding) than other groups such as blacks and Latinos. So those minorities tend to be out of luck anyway.
Fun fact about the liver. You can donate it to someone without it killing you. It’s called a partial liver transplant. You can take a part of your liver, donate it and it will regrow into back into a full liver. The donated part will also grow into a full liver. You can only do this once btw.
True. It's only certain parts of the liver, and the younger you are the more successfully it grows back (there may be issues when regenerating), but it's entirely possible.

True... Or, for me personally, my kids' mother too. While we see each other as great parents, we're well aware that mother and father play very different roles. Their mother can do things for them, that I can't. Even if we were not together, I'd give her a kidney, just because of her role in my kids' lives. Whether she cheated on me, kicked me out or whatever... Despite what she could do to me, her role as a good mother for my kids are more important imo.

I swear, this is why the world isn't a good place right now, and it's because we sometimes perpetuate the idea that we don't have to repay an act of kindness. There's two things I hate, and its evangelicals and people who use religion to justify shitty actions like cheating on someone who gave you life again. EDIT NUMBER TWO, CAUSE YA’LL MFS CAN’T TELL THE DEFINITION OF COMPATIBILITY: Compatibility doesn’t necessarily mean having the same interests, or looks, or whatever is considered as a bonus to a relationship, because looks, interests, personality, etc. are all bonuses. What actually holds a relationship is values, morality, kindness, being generally sweet to them, doing acts of unconditional love for them, etc. You can be polar opposites from a person, but you can still hold a relationship. In fact, being polar opposites in your interests might even be more fun, because you both can introduce each other to new perspectives. Case closed.

He's who he always was. Just because she gave him a kidney doesn't mean she gets to have him forever. Relationships are gambles like pretty much everything in life. The only thing you're guaranteed in life is death and if you have good parents that aren't out to make your life miserable and always have your back and never ask for anything in return than you can make sacrifices of great magnitude for them. But someone who's not blood, that's a step too far as you'll always expect something of equal magnitude in return.

Christians are allowed to have fun and party too, and just by being christian doesnt mean he cant go to Vegas.
In modern society, a lot of men complain about women having scummy behaviour, but there's men out there that equally have scummy behaviour; it can go both ways --- in this case, it's unfortunate that this girl got done dirty like this. No, he isn't obligated to stay with the girl, but why put her through all that and take her kidney if you're going to cheat on her, especially after she tried to save his life? 🤷🏾 cold world.
Stories like these and the pump n dump trend that is religiously followed by the modern men these days puts girls like me into deep fear of being used and discarded. I mean so many rp ytbers say that a woman beyond 25 is damaged. It's makes me paranoid thinking that the man I'm might be married to in the future will cheat on me once I have a child cause I would not look that great after all that and there's plenty of younger narcissist girls around here to take my place.

The trick that most people somehow don't understand that for some reason is all those dudes that had multiple women were examples of being bad. Even if God's chosen people are doing something, very often He had to proceed to smacking them around for not acting right.
That dude is a piece of shit , but honestly I respect this girl , I would never do this , and honestly she is a good person , I am not encouraging to give people their kidney, please don't unless you feel its worth it , but yeah hope she gets everything she wants in life , she deserves it
An elder at my church suffered kidney failure. The doctors discovered that his wife was a match and she donated. They were married for over seventy years.
That guy is a prime example as to why both love and faithfulness cannot be earned, even through sacrifice. If someone has it in their heart and mind to cheat, then they're going to do it regardless of the work you put into the relationship. This is why you really should get to know a person for a good while first before you get into anything serious, you might just find something out about them that tells you they're not the one for you, and you can avoid the potential heartbreak later.
So because she gave him a kidney, he's supposed to stay with her even if he doesn't want to... That's kinda rahpey...its his body, his choice too

*genetic diversity
She is a grown woman, she is supposed to make her own decisions
Thats what I was wondering. I wouldve told her dont do something like that for a boyfriend.

I think I would only ever donate a kidney to my own child. If nobody needed me and depended on me for survival, I would consider donating to a stranger. But I don't think I could donate to anyone else I know without it forever changing the relationship.

@@thezu9250 you're right, but that's bc of men. Unfortunately, men are attracted when women act (somewhat) disinterested, independent & aloof- the opposite of this lady. To be fair, humans evolved this way, & I guess it's bc it subconsciously communicates superior genes or something. Or men like to feel that the woman will be ok without him. I was yoked to a vulnerable narcissist for two years. No matter how bad things got, I could never leave him, because he was always going through SOMETHING that I couldn't abandon him during, and I had a bit of a saviour complex, thinking I could fix him and that he wanted to be fixed (he SAID he did). We had marriage plans (or at least I did) before he left, and I used to feel like him discarding me the way he did was a waste because of all the effort I put into a relationship but now I'm glad I learned the hard way in my early 20s as opposed to marrying him, and being completely ensnared after we'd already had four children and a joint bank account.
TL;DR: dumping me was the nicest thing my ex ever did for me.
He doesn’t have to stay with her- he could, ya know RESPECTFULLY break up with her. She seems reasonable. She wasn’t forcing him to be with her, she just didn’t want to be cheated on 🙃
If any woman my age range I was dating ever donated a kidney to me out of kindness, I would instantly propose to her or at the very least make her a close friend. Fr, no joke. Saving a life is priceless.
Now why tf does this man have the audacity to do the EXACT OPPOSITE?
Edit: Any one of ya'll trying to argue on why it was okay for the man to leave, do you have ZERO consideration for the person who gives you life? Giving someone the ability to live again is PRICELESS, and should be met with gratitude. That gratitude might be in the form of marriage, who knows. But ya'll should show some fuckin gratidude. I swear, this is why the world isn't a good place right now, and it's because we sometimes perpetuate the idea that we don't have to repay an act of kindness. Repaying an act of kindness shows the person giving the kindness that they should DO MORE OF IT. Its basic positive reinforcement. The woman in the video seemed nice as hell too, so miss me with that "wHaT iF sHe's iNcOmpATiBlE???" shit. I would want to wife her any day if she did that to me or AT THE VERY LEAST, make her a very close friend. This is why we can't have nice things. As a christian, the fact that the boyfriend used the Bible as an excuse to DEFEND his actions makes him even more foul. The Bible is a book of morality, not a book to weaponize morality. There's two things I hate, and its evangelicals and people who use religion to justify shitty actions like cheating on someone who gave you life again.
EDIT NUMBER TWO, CAUSE YA’LL MFS CAN’T TELL THE DEFINITION OF COMPATIBILITY:
Compatibility doesn’t necessarily mean having the same interests, or looks, or whatever is considered as a bonus to a relationship, because looks, interests, personality, etc. are all bonuses.
Cuz he a fuckboi who needed a simp donator
Exactly, even if the relationship doesn't work out, there should be a close friendship and a LOT of gratitude.
What if the woman makes a terrible partner, or you're completely incompatible? Is the price of saving a life, ruining both of yours?
He's not you, so...
This is what I think. Because people think differently than you. Choices exist and people change their minds. Some choices are good, some bad, some evil, and some are not bad nor good, and some are necessary. We won't always agree with one way of thinking. That's why.

That guy is a prime example as to why both love and faithfulness cannot be earned, even through sacrifice. If someone has it in their heart and mind to cheat, then they're going to do it regardless of the work you put into the relationship.
