Lloyd was on a tear around this time with his brilliant playing on those Matthew sweet albums. Perfect time to reunite television. This is the standout track on that album for me personally..great melody.
No Glamour for Willi is where Verlaine often really shined in a live setting...this solo in prticular being really inspired. Lloyd too answers the call with a really lovely solo. Great stuff
Curious song in that it seems to be a plea to refrain from the trappings of glamour and instead exalt the attributes of plain ness ..Someone who is content to be "invisible"..In contradiction perhaps are the glamorous solos..
