    There is a reason the appliance manufacturers use individual platforms. You can move them to clean behind and work on the appliances.

      I have pedestals on my 18-year old (now dying) Kenmore w/d combo. We have pulled them out many times over the years for new hoses, servicing, cleaning, things falling behind, etc. I agree with you.

    Great video. Great build. Great job 💪🏽
    Im using your video as a reference for a single washer pedestal with a draw for detergent storage. Thank you

    Washing Jeans at the start of the high speed spin the washer will bounce a bit. Will the wash stay on this pedestal?

    Why would somebody who's trying to learn how to build something? Want to see it 100 mph? Is that where we're at? We're that impatient

    Turned out great! I'm going to build one and I will have a wall on the left side like you and a base cabinet that will be tight to the right side. My question is if I have to pull either the washer or dryer out how will I get them out and off of the pedestal?

    • @jlistdiy
      @jlistdiy  Год назад

      Thank you and if you have to pull them off I'd start with the dryer since that would be the lighter of the 2 and will slid easily and then the washer will be more manageable with the dryer out of the way

    • @chrisbowen8437
      @chrisbowen8437 Год назад

      Ok that makes sense. I wasn't sure how the dryer vent would flex that far and having the front edge of the pedestal.

    I want to build this and was thinking of having some sort of lockable appliance track wheels on the bottom. Any thoughts? Maybe add and additional metal latch secured into a wall stud?

    • @jlistdiy
      @jlistdiy  Год назад +1

      That would a pretty good idea auctully then you can access the back side with ease also if the wheels lock then you shouldn't have a need to attach to a wall stud

    • @fufactory9
