Would love to get your opinion about the data/temps/performance pulling that load up a 2k elevation gain over 6 miles, mountain pass.

    Great info guys! When I study your opinions on all of your technical modifications I can't help myself but to think of so many other ways this can be done for every application of driving in terms of size of load, racing, sled pulls ect. I would love to do what you guys are doing, I'm very thankful to see this being done because the factories basically build a single truck in each model. You guys seem to unlock the potential in all of the dynamic components in these trucks. 👍🙏💯. I do have a questions if you wouldn't mind expounding on this topic, my next step on my 2011 LML GMC is air in and air out. My truck is used as a daily driver and I pull a fifth wheel trailer and an extra load of around 4000 lbs so a total of around 14,000 lbs. The truck stock was a strong running truck however I have applied mods and I'm playing the power curve game such as yourselves, I have taken your advice several times and I've realized that I must read between the lines with you guys lol. 2700 bar fuel pressure sensor was recommended by Nick but he did say "don't jump in with 2 feet" and to understand the fuel side of the truck and the immense pressure that is being introduced to

    The common rail system, I went with a 2400 bar fuel pressure sensor. My question is about a good combination for a turbo, I'm happy with the stock turbo on this truck however I know that it's time to upgrade and I have listened to you guys talk about the 64 mm stealth, is a 63 mm stealth available? Or would it be beneficial to put a bigger wheel on my stock Turbo? I'm not too impressed with the turbo lag and I seem to have a weak throttle response no matter what I've done. Also another question I have is on my airdog 165 after applying the fuel pressure sensor would it be beneficial for me to crank up the pressure on the air dog?

    • @nickpriegnitz5895
      @nickpriegnitz5895 Год назад +1

      Scott, the 64 is the smallest upgrade we offer and would be our recommendation if the stock unit is getting hot pulling at the power level you're currently running. I would only start adding low side fuel pressure if the high side is unable to keep up adequately. In that case I would verify the low side is maintaining the set pressure while operating at high load. Hope this is helpful. - Nick

    • @Duramaxtuner

      @user-ru7lg5kq3x For this kind of power out of a 5.9L Cummins you will want to go with our HX35 Stealth 64. It can produce up to 650hp with some injectors and tuning. For injectors, you will want to go with at least 60 overs, or larger if you plan on going bigger in the future.

      If you’re running conventional motor oil I would try to keep it below 250 or 260. The synthetics can take closer to 300° but for my own peace of mind I don’t think I would push it that far continuously if you’re consistently seeing over 260 I’d consider adding an aftermarket oil cooler
