At first when I saw this comment and thought you just meant that it was a good video but then he started carving and every time he would carve I would flinch and that's when I remembered this comment! 🤣

What a nice and different project - I'll have to try this one. Was I the only one nervous while you were slimming the stem? I thought for sure it was going to snap! Whew!

I must say I’ve never seen anyone carve from the back side of a triangular block. I kept thinking at any moment you were gonna say “Oops!” 🫢
You really did pull that one off! Bravo! Maybe a rose in the near future? 🌹 🌹🌹

Love it when Artist explains the tools and their use.
Yes, it can be done with a knife but faster and sometimes safer with and specialty tools.
I know you have taught for several years and my little more than 1 year of limited experience ( I run in spells as I've health issues) .
I'm trying to say I'm better at relating to your teaching or your teaching school skills have improved. But yes, I'm keeping up with you better. Hopefully, we both improved.
    BIG THANKS ALEX

Great tutorial! I really think this looks like a hibiscus flower. I have several pictures I've taken for reference and inspiration for an upcoming project. I may have to give yours a go before i finish designing mine. Right now I'm in the process of doing a relief of a sunflower using videos by you and Chiseled Outdoors Custom Carvings as reference and inspiration. Thanks for all the great tutorials you do 🤙
