The new young niggas coming up think it's corny and they're not really proud of their bay area heritage like that it seems, they want to sound like Chicago/Detroit. That's another reason why we aren't on, we're using a sound already made by the chi/D, thats what their known for. When outsiders hear our music they can somewhat tell it sounds identical to Chicago/Detroit and they probably thinking they sound like these niggas over here I might as well keep listening to what I was listening to prior, ya feel me.

Back in 2005-2006 in Detroit we were listening to too short, the pack, E40 ect. Detroit does have its own sound and so does the Bay. It’s similar in some ways and the not to mention the accents sometimes sound similar in songs to some people. I was watching a reaction video of Drego and Beno by some guys from Virginia and as soon as Beno started rapping he goes “sounds like it’s some Cali shit” So, some get us confused. It’s always been a link between both areas. A lot of Detroiters got cousins in the bay. Most of my cousins and some extended family are from the bay. The rest are in Texas, Memphis and Detroit. Their will always be a bond tho ❤️

It seems Nobody like eachother in Detroit everybody just want be/say/show that they either better than the next person trying to come up. Detroit can feel and be so anti-social that unless you're in a circle or click you're nothing and nobody no matter what you have going on otherwise you're either Prey,Play,& Always ready to Spray type Mentality and Vibe. Most People in Detroit Act Like they don't see or acknowledge ANYBODY unless it's something about the person they themselves can manipulate or own. For whoever hating on the bay, Yall didn't want to give the bay a chance in the first place, the bay has more than one sound we have unique sounds too, and we have legendz and spitterz here too and this the place every one get their game and sauce from. The bay was always blackballed and the industry didn't want the bay to get their foot in the door and to all the east coast fools I know yall hate on the bay yall always have😂, the bay the most hated on but it's good we always shine through and find a way and make some noise in some type of way. You don't gotta like us but yall will respect us, off top. The bay did influence Detroit current sound, Detroit never sounded like this until recently, Detroit always sounded more east coastish back then but now they sound more like bay rappers which is not a bad thing I don't know why people make it sound like it is, only the og's have that old school Detroit sound but current young Detroit rappers sound more like bay area rappers like I said which isn't a bad thing. We have an influence, the bay and the d have always been connected.
