    Very nice tour. I have a 2021 in red and cream and its great. Happiest at 80 kmh but does 90 easily. It's at its limit at 100 kmh, but I have seen 115 on the speedo - probably just over 100 kmh in reality. Fantastic low fuel consumption, the best fun bike I've owned. 👍🇦🇺

      Yes, the bike is so approachable. But doing 100 kmh it feels like flying apart :-) And vibrates like hell. Did you notice any oil burn? On my recent 700 kms trip I had to top up very small amounts a few times...

      @@yoshi125cc Hi bro, I'm from italy, the last year I did from Rome to Athens in a c125 2018 blue and light blue (the one with the red seat), No fuel consumption at all.
      But, in order to preserve my back and to cruise mindless the average speed was 55/60 km/h, over became a bit nervous and shaky. I suggest, once out of the warranty, to use 10w40 oil instead of the recommended 10w30.
      Happy trips with your cub.
      PS in the first day of june, I will be in Freiburg, obviously with the c125 :)

    I have had the same Honda Super Cub since September 2022, and I have already ridden over 13,000 km with it, including longer distances. For example, I rode from Frankfurt to Berlin (560 km) in 10 hours in one day, taking country roads. The first 8 hours were enjoyable, but it became a bit tiring afterwards. I have an inflatable seat cushion from SW-MOTECH TRAVELLER SMART, which I highly recommend for long distances. I also rode with the Super Cub from Frankfurt over the Gotthard Pass to Lake Como (with an overnight stay) and back via the Klausen Pass. The Honda Super Cub is fantastic. When downshifting, I give it some throttle blips, and that makes it smoother.

      I have both lived in Frankfurt and Berlin :-) How often do you stop on long distance trips? My butt starts to hurt after 2 hours of riding. I tried the SW Motech cushion but somehow couldn't find a comfortable position, so I returned it.

      @@yoshi125cc When I ride long distances to reach the destination on time, I don't take any extra breaks; I only stop for refueling, and a fuel stop takes about 5 minutes in total - that should be enough. The Motech cushion doesn't work miracles, but it helps me a lot. I only inflate it to about 25%, as you have to experiment a bit to find the best level of inflation.
      When I go on an 8 to 10-hour tour (which I rarely do, as it's not much fun - it's just about reaching the destination), the average speed is always around 55 km/h. Google Maps usually estimates an average speed of about 60 km/h to 65 km/h for the planned routes, but that's not achievable with a Super Cub. But that's okay; I generally don't go over 80 km/h, even if I could go faster. It also depends on the route's terrain, whether it's hilly or if you have to pass through many cities on the way. For regular day trips, I take my time - I start around 10:00 am and try to find accommodation around 7:30 pm. During that time, I cover approximately 350 km to 400 km, exploring cities, landmarks, etc.

VG

    I've got 2019 red and white model. It's happiest at 60km per hour. Above that it starts reminding you it's being caned, and the vibrations start

    Hallo und grüße aus der Pfalz.. schönes Video! Stehe auch kurz vor einer Kauf Entscheidung zwischen einer Honda Cub und einer Vespa GTS. Wie zufrieden bist du mit der Honda ? Für mich wäre sie für den Alltag bzw. weg zur Arbeit. Viele Grüße

    Nice Video! Always good to see some Cubs cruising around :) How do you recognize the engine sound of the Super Cub 125? Is it quiet/loud? I am driving the Honda Innova - which kind of is the predecessor of the Super Cub - and I get annoyed by just the Loudness of the engine. Cheers!

      Hello! I think my Cub vibrates quite a bit, especially around 70 kmh. My former scooter, a Honda Vision 110, was more "smooth". I know, comparing apples with oranges...

    Super Cubs should be designed to cope with secondary road speed limit.. I just acquired mine 2 months ago. Beautiful bike but seems to load and too much vibration at 70kph.. My suggestion as I have seen posted elsewhere is to upgrade front sprocket to 15t.. That will give almost 8% more speed at same rpm...

      @yoshi125cc  Год назад

      This would immediately void the warranty in Germany. Within 2 years, you better don't fiddle with the bike here. Does the speedo work properly with an alternative sprocket? Cheers

    I don't think the cub is meant to be pushed to 80kmph or around 50mph. Mine does the same as yours and vibrates. It think its a luxury that it can though. Helps me keep up and not hold people up on most roads

    • @yoshi125cc
      @yoshi125cc  Год назад +1

      I absolutely agree. Anything between 50-70 kmh is nice and relaxing. The usual speeds on Southeast Asian roads, I guess.

      @yoshi_cycles The cub was originally designed for japanese food delivery in thr big cities. No way you are getting over 40km on those roads
