I adore my sister! I refuse to imagine what it would be like, I don't think I could handle the thought of it. I mean, I would rather leave first than losing her. If she only has a boy, maybe use the masculine version of her sister's first or middle name, or if her sister had a favorite color -- let's say, red -- put *Red* in parentheses as a middle name.

My godsister carried a locket with her fathers photo in her bouquet on her wedding day. Also, my cousin put up a photo of the family members her, and her husband had lost, on the bridal table at the reception. One of those photos was of my cousin who we lost to epilepsy at the age of 29. It was a photo of her when she was a bride. I remember seeing that photo, then going home and crying for weeks. I didn't know the other 2 people in the photo.

Me and my sister were adopted and she was my only sibling. She was murdered four months after her 18th birthday. The guilt of her passing and me not being able to save her has changed me forever. I hear that one - will be 11 years this June 21st since I’ve lost my youngest brother to a terrible accident. He was only 35, but due to many family issues, I last saw him when he was 14 and I was 20. I’ve always wished I could’ve done more to protect him somehow (we had awful parents)...I still miss my brother every day.

When you stop looking, itll happen. So I was married to my first love. Who ended up being very abusive. I ended up actually meeting my soulmate after I had my son once at the store he was working at, and then again about a year and a half later through a friend.
I was still married. Ended up divorcing and one day he hit me up. I hated him at first lol but literally within 2 weeks we were moving in together, and then pregnant with our twins very soon after. Yea we moved on quickly and wish we didnt but we are still here 6yrs later still strong. He is my best friend.
I went from abusive husband and abusive mother (she is another story but yes, my husband and mother were both narcissists and very abusive towards me) to finding true love.
I had a failed suicide attempt before I divorced my ex too. It was bad. I was very lonely and wondered why the hell cant I be happy. Not even my own mother loved me.
Dont get me wrong life isnt perfect. We are struggling financially right now but I'd rather be with my soul mate and best friend than do it alone.
He literally came as soon as I was giving up.

I know how she feels. I lost my sister and she was not here for my wedding. I still miss her like crazy. She was my only sibling and now I am my moms only child. It is definitely hard to get through some days cause I wanna talk to my sister and she’s not here. Yeah we had our fights but we still loved each other. There was a lot of resentment from my sister cause she was 13 when I was born. She was no longer the only child and she had to babysit me. There were a few times she even tried to kill me. When I got older we became closer. Things happen for a reason and tho we don’t know why we still have to be strong and push through. I hope this bride gets the wedding and husband she’s always wanted. Her sister would be so proud of her.

My sister passed away the year before I was born, and I've always felt her absence in my life, especially at my wedding. Knowing that she'd never walk down the aisle or fall in love was hard but the worst part was feeling like she should have been my maid of honour and she couldn't be. Luckily I have amazing friends that are sisters to me- but I totally get that feeling of wishing she was there at the end of that aisle.
