- In this video, we take you on a tour of the beautiful town of Béziers, with our local agent, Claudia, as well as in Pézenas with our agent there, Charlotte.
Béziers, the 2nd largest protected area in France after Paris, offers many beautiful sites worth a visit when in the area. You will be able to travel through different times depending on where you find yourself in the city, from Roman times to the Middle Age. Don’t forget to walk along the Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy this gorgeous environment and the 9 locks of Fonseranes.
The small town of Pézenas offers a lot to enjoy for its visitors. From the old architecture and exceptional crafts to sculptors, potters, cabinetmakers, glassblowers... this is definitely the perfect place for many artists! When visiting, stroll through the cobbled streets where the old houses - some of which date back to the Middle Ages - are decorated with colourful shutters echoing the bright hues of the art and craft shops.
