As a premier league fan, it’s almost strange to see these lads playing together.
Ik it must be weird for them aswell. Like they spend weeks with this squad for tournaments then the only times they see them for like the next 6 months is when they play against each other

Last 5 years? How about the last 30 or 40 years. I've never seen an England team play with the control and pace that this team is capable of playing at. It's because they've all been training under the same system at St George's park in the youth teams, so when they step into the senior team there's no confusion about system like there used to be. We have a competitive team for the next decade!

We just have to hope Southgate learns that one goal ahead is not enough to count the match as won and park the bus at half-time. We play defensive football well but the reality is there is such a thing as overly-defensive.
However we cannot forget all our accomplishments and the fact that we will only be better in Qatar 2022, especially as some of our better players like Henderson and Grealish will (hopefully!) not be injured then and we’ll have way more experience. Also England will be looking to prove themselves to the world, that they’re deserving of being winners

England's options are just getting better and better. We've got some amazing talent and there's even more talent coming to the fore every few months.
