I appreciate you sharing your beautiful mind with me and others. Right now I have the honor of painting a rather large rock for a good friend that's celebrating 75 yrs young in a couple weeks. The rock is an oval shape 4 inches in depth,10 in. On the longer part of the oval and the other direction is 61\2 inches. I'm blessed to have found this rock on the Oregon coast 7 years ago. It has a great smooth ,flat surface. I live in so. Cal,.desert

Territory. I have MS and my mind is getting cloudy as it progresses ,thus the reason I'm heading another artist to help me cover this rock canvas with a colorful spring scene ,church, path, fence, etc I've been rock painting for about 15 yrs. But I have no problem getting humble and asking for direction on colors to start my stone. Your wonderful. 😀

Thank you so much for sharing your art. I'm going in for a procedure at the hospital Friday and wanted to make a bunch of rocks celebrating healthcare workers to leave around the parking lot and building. This will be a great background to write things like "Nurses Rock" "CNA's Are Heroes". Thanks for the idea.

Your work could never be boring or disappointing.. Everything you do is incredibily beautiful and imaginative..:) I am now addicted to your video tutorials LOL.. HOOKED..!! :D ;) And, I might add , you laugh like I do.. LOL Keep them coming ... I truly enjoy listening to you and watching you work away ..Your so natural in the way you describe what to do and what your doing , which makes it more like talking to a friend than a teacher.. and is very encouraging to actually try doing it yourself.. I am going to.. What I see excites the painter in me once more , so all I can say is thankyou ! :D

I just recently discovered your channel. Everything you do is awesome! I do have a question. On this video when you are doing the blending do you change brushes for each color or do you rinse off your brush? I didn't know if the brush needed to be dry or not. Thank you if you have time to answer.

I envy your steady hands when you're using your liner. I'm hesitant when I use mine & then my not so steady hands do bad things & the brush goes wild. Okay. I know what I'm supposed to do. Keep practising until I'm more confident using the liner. But that's so hard for me to do. I want to sit down, rock & brush in hand & turn out a Rachel-quality rock.
What brand is that Spun Gold Crafters Paint? I ordered some Extreme Gold & don't really like it because it doesn't have that molten gold look.
I love your work. You keep me inspired. And your voice is so soothing. The comments you make remind me that I shouldn't be so hard on myself because it's supposed to be fun & relaxing. Maybe I need to take a chill pill before I take up brush & paint.
    Thank you for your tutorials!

You don't have to use resin. You can use any kind of seal you desire. I have used krylon triple thick spray outdoors with a mask. But I haven't used other sealants. You can use what works for you!❤

It's just "high gloss" mod Podge. I use art resin now. It's more expensive, but it weather's really well and protects the artwork. Mod Podge isn't good for anything you put outdoors in the elements for any length of time.
