Growing up listening to songs from tales told by dead friend to monsters in the closet I dreaded that one day in the future Mayday Parade will give up their style to blend day with the " modern day music" but had I known they would do something like this in 2022 I wouldn't have sweat it. What an amazing song, the same vintage Mayday Parade melodic + mesmerising touch along with the same emotion that takes me to serenity. Everything was perfect from Derek's vocals to Alex's solo to the beautiful backup vocals by Jake with that soft yet epic drum beat. Proud to say Mayday Parade is and forever will be an emotion. The best band that ever can exist !!! Forever my number 1 fav band till I am alive♥️♥️
@@jacoba2901 yes sir precisely just looking back at recently produced songs like Golden days & sideways which had the same raw vintage Mayday Parade feel with the whole emo-rock guitar effects and clean drumming, a bit different from the norm but certainly not something that take the whole mayday parade emotion & feel away.

But right now I feel like I’m not here I’m far and I can’t feel the ground and this song reminds me of how much I miss my son, his mother didn’t like me and up and took him one day. I only see pictures, he looks so happy with his new family but I’m left here with a broken heart that I can’t fix as much as I try and throw myself into everything as hard as I can. And I just end feeling empty like I’m missing something. Man I miss the mayday of 2007-2011 they were a big reason me and my best friends started a band in high school, 3 of us went to see them right after Jason left the band circa 2010-11ish at the handlebar in Greenville SC we got a pick w Derrick outside the tour bus, I think Jake was singing back up? But anyways was an awesome concert, but man do I miss Jason in this band, I love Derrick too and hope nothing but the best for both of them but we can only hope as fans that maybe just maybe they reunite one day
really good. liked the build up throughout the song but was really waiting for the heavier faster paced drums at some point in the middle. super good tho. feels like a song that leads into another upbeat song. lets hear more!
