What the hell this song was so good
Amazing find. Guitarwork sounds nostalgic for some reason, chorus is fun, and most importantly the song didn't even feel like a ~5min song. Hope to hear more of these from them

My favorite discovery was Ice Sealed Eyes, the heavy riff and haunting ambience they do in their songs is so good

Not really a new band, but my favorite recent discovery for me has to be Science of Sleep. Great band for if you want to listen to some older styled deathcore with some sick breakdowns and riffs.
“Guilt” by stained with silver is currently my favourite discovery, i just love how it flows

QOTD: my most recent discovery isn’t metal, it’s Japanese city pop, which is great easy listening music for when I’m busy working or playing games. But my favorite somewhat recent metal discovery is a mathgrind band called Atka. Usually not the kind of thing that would be in my wheelhouse, but I came across their Untitled Album 1 while playing Clone Hero, and that was the best way to experience that album for the first time. Usually I think of grindcore as being too noisy and chaotic for my tastes, but this album was very thoughtful and meticulously crafted. It kinda sounds like if Dillinger and Cattle Decap had a baby, but it resembled Dillinger a bit more 😂
