Yes!! Finally!! The reason this is a ‘double feature’ is because Tag You’re It is about crybaby being kidnapped by the ‘big bad wolf’, and he takes her underground. In milk and cookies, she uses poison she got at the store from the girl in tag you’re it to poison the cookies she makes for the wolf so he does and she can escape
my favourite part of tag you’re it is when she sings the chorus but much louder and much more aggressively. she sounds out of breath and panicked. this was because she knew she couldn’t run any longer and the wolf was catching up to her. she was beginning to give up and let the wolf take her. even though it isn’t in the visual, this is what happens at the end. i love melanie omgg shes just so slay. 😍
This song is a continuation of the story-line from "Tag, You're It" after Cry Baby was kidnapped. In this song, Cry Baby is so distraught that something in her snaps and she kills her kidnapper with poisonous milk and cookies. She wears black to symbolize his impending death, since black is commonly worn at funerals, and sarcastically mentions how good she looks in it. Originally, the song was about a girl killing her boyfriend with poisonous milk and cookies. Melanie once described the song as a "weird sequel" to "Dead To Me,"[1] with the latter being about planning out the murder and the former about actually carrying it out.
This story and the music gives me Birthday Massacre vibes, specifically their early stuff. This song here is new to me, just found out through my wife and I really like it. I love the passion in her voice. The catchy bassline in Tag is so simple, yet so effective. The arpeggio of the chords in Milk and Cookies is very nice.
"Tag, You're It" is about Cry Baby getting kidnapped, utilizing the children's game "tag" as a metaphor. After Cry Baby breaks up with Johnny, she is vulnerable and alone and gets kidnapped by a "wolf".
I find tag you’re it a conflict to listen to. It’s so catchy but also, I feel, so obvious what it’s about so is confronting & disturbing emotionally. Milk & cookies I think is a bit deeper than the obvious theme of the MV.
CROOKED I AND SNOW THA PRODUCT "NOT FOR THE WEAK MINDED" Crooked is great, but Snow absolutely dominates this one... Flow changes and lyrics on a whole other level... Snow is just friggin ridiculously great....
The one thing I HATE about Tag You’re It is the very very last few seconds. Because it sounds exactly like the title cards of Rugrats. Like the screen when it shows the episode names lol
According to some people, Every Single song Melanie made is based on something that happened to her in real life, and apparently "Tag, you're it" Is based of her actually getting kidnapped, or stalked, "Milk and Cookies" Is her dealing with that stalker, permanently... (This is what I heard from other others)
@@rikuhell8076 Yeah, Thats why i said according to, and that thats what I heard from other. I didnt come up with that, and It it sounds fake, I et it because I also think its fake. I didnt mean to make it seem real.

I like in a lot of her songs she has classic nursery rhymes. Goes with the whole child ascetic. 😊
it’s really representing SÁ , drugging, and kidnapping in general
yess! been waiting on this one
Tag your it is about r*pe/kidnapping. The music video is about Crybaby (melanie martinez) is getting chased by the big bad wolf, (the kidnapper).
