cut that nose back 2 inches... the part that sinks in under the steering column collar, that then requires you to drop the steering column to remove the cluster, also shorten the threaded studs that you replaced, to the shortest required to work. those two mods will make it easier to remove next time
Do you do work on gauges for customers? I have a chrome gauge cluster I'd like wired up to connect to a painless wiring harness. I'd like to use the original style gauges just new reproductions and led lights. Where are you located? Thanks and God bless.
