We're actively working on Thunderbird for Android. I can't give you a concrete date yet, but it will absolutely be in 2024. And an iOS version is planned and confirmed, but we're going to get Android out the door first.

When are we going to see thunderbird officialy coming to mobile devices?
They purchased K9 (ruclips.net/video/2BsMbkp48Rk/видео.html&pp=ygUIazkgZW1haWw%3D). I've used on my phone for 3 yrs. Needs Thunderbird refinement

please release a basic tutorial on "how to make Thunderbird extensions" and publish it for community use.
That's a great idea! Can't promise it will happen soon, but I'll speak to our Add-ons guru John about it.
