Will there be any videos, NOW in September to cover how to handle Microsoft's going with "modern Authentication" which just might mess up many people's email access? Even on the Microsoft site, it mentions Mozilla Thunderbird as an option. I've downloaded it but have not installed it as yet. It's new to me, so I'm a bit apprehensive. I'd sure like to watch some videos on dealing with this current change with Microsoft (Outlook/Live) accounts. Thanks in advance.

I will make the switch from K-9 to Thunderbird immediately , love Thunderbird, cant wait. Aaaand I need to be able to add add-ons ;) Maybe K-9 can be the lightweight version or make two versions of Thunderbird. Firefox is already running super great on Android, well basically also on PC and MAC

I used Get RSS Feeds URL on Brave and Firefox but it was unable to find a feed.

I would be lot more impressed with Thunderbird if Mozilla would stop breaking shit with every update. Like subfolder, Sent Mail, and Trash refresh. And don't tell me to check the boxes. I never unchecked them.

Thunderbird cannot find feeds form youtube currently. I used to use feedbro firefox addon for youtube, but trying to switch over to thunderbird. If I recall correctly, feedbro would require "atom" feeds from RUclips specifically.

Manually sort folders worked for me...Video didn't help

I'm trying to use Thunderbird as an email client but it doesn't do Exchanger Server natively. Yes I can use OWL at a cost and it only seem to do one account I heard a rumor that it was going to be added to TB but don't know when.

Don't worry about sorting folders, let us re-order accounts as a matter of urgency.

I would love to see the same approach/team/quality on Firefox. Really! Other thing... I use Skype, it has limitations. And I don´t swallow Zoom. It would be nice to see a BRAND NEW app from Mozilla team with Thunderbird quality as reference.

So... any news on conversation view? I want to use Thunderbird so bad but I am so used to Gmail that it is impossible for me not to use conversation view

You can group the emails you get under thunderbird but it is not possible to sort in the group the latest email in that group on top. Also the handling between Linux and Windows are not identical. Could you please improve this soon? Thanks in advance! Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹

Are you able to point me at ways to accomplish the following or speak to a possible feature? I have email accounts on multiple servers. I rely on Thunderbird's ability to consolidate my traffic. While I use message rules to move content among folders -- some local, some IMAP -- there are times when I would like to automatically "forward" a message as content to one of my other email accounts. Sometimes I want to simply forward the content. Some times I need to add my own comments above the original message content. Inline is preferred but an attached message works as well. Just came across this tutorial and thought, 'fantastic, just what I need'. Followed the instructions and after a couple of hiccups I have now got a couple of You Tube feeds in my 'Blogs & Feeds' menu. However, if I click on any video to play it, it just hangs with a spinning wheel of death. The videos play normally in You Tube directly. I use Vivaldi browser (Chromium) and of course Thunderbird email client. Any idea why they will not play?

I hope sync includes 'sent' times so its seamless moving between the desktop and mobile. Use K9 but it seems hamstrung and main drawback to me is lack of visibility of sent items when I move out of office

Elephant in the room? ALL THE TABS it opens when you read your email or pretty much do anything. My customers don't understand why they can't easily see their inbox after reading or sending an email, like in Outlook. I have to show them Thunderbird is just Firefox with bells on and they're just going to have to live with multiple browser tabs whenever they do anything.
