    I did this once or twice at practice and it worked but i kept trying it and i got jammed to sleep so you gotta have more than one move.🏈👈

      Quick tip when doing this move don’t raise your arms above your chest keep them buzzing ready to fight at chest level so he can’t get hands on your chest then swim outside of him

    My coach gets pissed if we step back, he just wants us to explode off the line as fast as possible

    • @imtylergreen
      @imtylergreen 8 лет назад +4

      I can see where he's coming from but stepping back gives you that insurance that your gonna get past the db if you just explode he can easily get you on the ground, I play both positions :/

      Most smaller receivers will use this technique because once a DB get their hands on them, they are pretty much dead in the water. I would rather my guys get a clean release than to sit there and dance with a DB. I do see where your coach is coming from though, and it does make sense.

    • @SanDiegoProgressive
      @SanDiegoProgressive 7 лет назад

      Steve is right at the LOS vs the defender, making it easier for the defender to strike. Try moving as far off the LOS as legally possible. This will give you an extra split second to clean release and win.

    if that DB acts like that , the DB coach should be immediately fired lol

    This move really works for slot receivers especially when doing short routes like slants and etc.

  • @G_KODE_1911
    @G_KODE_1911 6 лет назад +2

    This works with an indiscipline DB that lazily lunch at a WR. A wise DB will watch center of mass and still be there to throw the WR off his route.

    what if the db doesn’t lunge? a lot of the dbs that i tried this on would just buzz their feet and keep trying to jam any time i moved upfield. that’s when you gotta put the hands and footwork into use

    A good db won’t take a strip forward while jamming and wind allow you to sun by then like that

  • @CHINITOGUZ10
    @CHINITOGUZ10 8 лет назад

    I'm 6'0 and 190lb , I run a 5.48 (40) but I never trained on running lol. So it's not too fast. I'm hoping with training I could get a lot faster. By at a second or so. I wanna try out for football next year. But idk if I could be a WR, cause I would like to play as a WR. Do I have the materials already or what am I missing?

    • @joshgarca17
      @joshgarca17 8 лет назад +1

      How old are you? Because that's kind of slow for your size so I'd suggest stay at your weight and do track to get speed to be a running back or wide receiver or put on some weight to be a tight end. Either way track would help a lot

    • @CHINITOGUZ10
      @CHINITOGUZ10 8 лет назад

      +Josh Garca yeah man, thanks, idk, I think I might stick as a line backer lol. Thank you

    • @CHINITOGUZ10
      @CHINITOGUZ10 8 лет назад

      +Josh Garca and I'm 16 btw. I think I'm more suited for a linebacker. But you never know. My time is probably better than 5.48 since I have to time myself and I have to hold my phone in my hand l stop and start the timer. Which is quite uncomfortable.

    • @joshgarca17
      @joshgarca17 8 лет назад

      +CHINITOGUZ TEN yeah lol then it's probably better than that but linebacker sounds good for you and that's definetly good size for 16

    • @CHINITOGUZ10
      @CHINITOGUZ10 8 лет назад

      +Josh Garca yeah man, but with training hopefully I can get faster and aim for something like RB or WR or I'll be the future Ray Lewis lmaoo but hey man I appreciate the advise. Ive never played football with pads and stuff so this was helpful

    You're able to snatch the DB? I thought you just push his arms away from the direction you want to run.

  • @charbelwadih734
    @charbelwadih734 9 лет назад

    What about if he doesn't jam you, that will slow you down and you will look stupid

    • @jhoover436
      @jhoover436 9 лет назад +1

      Charbel Wadih you probably should wait until you figure out the corner, if hes been jamming everytime he presses then its smart to do this. Theres more moves to use, this is a situational one, cant always use it.

  • @taylorbeauchamp7182
    @taylorbeauchamp7182 9 лет назад

    Is this a risky move?

    • @burton2156
      @burton2156 9 лет назад

      Taylor Beauchamp Yeah you're basically wasting half a second by trying to avoid the jam with quickness. The extra space helps him not get a hand on you so you can make a move on him but if the move doesn't work and he's still pressing you you're taken out of the play pretty much. Best not to do if you're a bigger/stronger receiver probably.

    • @marcuslindsey9645
      @marcuslindsey9645 6 лет назад

      Yes but not if you know your corner, if the corner jams every play and he did it while you were scouting him, this move will work....It is a little risky even if he does jam you, It depends on how you use it and what type of WR you are
